Did you know that a new ‘BEACH’ just opened in NYC?

Manhattan’s first public ‘beach’ just open and it’s called Gansevoort Peninsula right by the Hudson River Park🆕

🏖️It includes a sandy beach with umbrellas, places to picnic, beach chairs, kayak access. ❌Swimming will not be allowed at Gansevoort Peninsula due to the Hudson River’s polluted water.

Really looking forward to this portion of Hudson River Park being completed. It will, I believe be the last large chunk with expansive pieces of public space. I'm most looking forward to the beach landing area for kayaks and paddle boards as I'm a year-round paddler and guide. This will be a great new stop, either as a destination or a stop along...
