Literally the best pizza in nyc here ! I never get tired from this place but it is sad that I rarely go to Midtown, otherwise I would eat this pizza every day lol The taste all their food is so good , my favourite pizza is Margarita and last time I’ve tried another pizza with meat and that one was even better !
Prices are so cheap for this taste and quality! It’s started from $12 for a whole pizza it’s very reasonable compare to other restaurants! When I was at Little Italy I visited a lot of Italian restaurants but I can say that I still would go to Simo if I wanna delicious pizza .
The place is so clean , you can eat inside or take food to go . They cook just in front of you . You can see all process . In the restaurant I think (I’m not totally sure) they sale all products for cooking the dough (Flour , tomato sauce ) You can buy pizza and also something for the dough! :)
Highly recommend...
Read moreAs a food connoisseur with a deep appreciation for authentic pizza, Simò Pizza in the Meatpacking District is an absolute standout. The crust is a masterclass in balance—crispy on the outside with a beautifully soft, chewy center that speaks to expert dough fermentation and a high-heat oven done right.
Each pie showcases bold, well-developed flavor profiles. From the richness of the San Marzano tomato sauce to the creamy, high-quality mozzarella and thoughtfully chosen toppings, every bite is satisfying and layered. The margherita is a great place to start—simple, but executed with precision—and the specialty options go beyond the ordinary without feeling overdone.
The space itself has a modern, casual energy that fits the neighborhood perfectly. Counter-service keeps things relaxed, but the quality is anything but casual. If you care about craft, Simò Pizza is a must-try in Manhattan’s...
Read moreSuch a shame. The place is wonderful, the staff are very nice. The hostess was horrendous. The hostess let the whole experience down with her terrible attitude. Well, moving part her, the location is perfect around the 7-8pm time. Perfect for a warm and balmy evening. The pizzas: the dough is delicious! Absolutely perfect. The pizzas are good. Sure you get what you pay for, but that only applies to the cook time and not the ingredients. The toppings are delicious. My only gripe would be one more minute in the oven and a perfect pizza. (psst. From what I saw, the hostess lady was rushing the chef as I waited to use the washroom).
Summary - this is a great spot for an evening pizza and a fun date night!
P. S. Ashby is the best of the staff there. He is a...
