Read moreI really hate giving bad reviews but I had a very unfortunate experience with Gibney. I never got a chance to actually rent the space because after what seemed to be positive communication and responsiveness to my needs there was dead silence. My communication started with Mariana and Nicole in early May. I was asked to provide information about dates and my needs. I provided all of this information and after several emails asking for updates I never heard back. If they were unable to accommodate me for my event I would have appreciated an email that informed me and I would have moved on. I hope that no one has this experience as the space seem beautiful but I won't know because I was not able to move forward...
Read moreNYC offers a plethora of beautiful dance spaces, and Gibney keeps pace. It's a bit of a TARDIS — at the entry door, you'd never guess how much space you'll find inside. Studios are spacious and well-maintained, and common areas and restrooms are clean and comfortable.
Also, the skylight in Studio E is gorgeous.
