First off, since my initial review, this business has moved locations. Their new location is a bit tougher to find street parking but has been doable during my last two visits. Just something to keep in mind if you drive in to visit this salon. The street right outside and across is metered, but the side streets are not. Since they've reopened, they remain appointment only, but unfortunately, their card machine is not working so they are cash only for the time being (August 2020). You can walk in, but be prepared to be turned away if they are booked up which is usually the case, they will call you back if they have a cancellation and can fit you in. This is also dependent on the service you're after. Speaking of services, they aren't offering any wax services at the moment either, not even eyebrow. One major thing to note is that their prices have gone up. This is becoming quite normal for most businesses that were affected by the shut down orders in NY due to the pandemic. Before quarantine, their pedicures were only $18 as listed on the back of their business card and now it's $25. I did a bit of a double take when I finished my pedicure and was told the new price because it was higher than I expected. I've noticed on yelp that they've rebranded as a luxury nail salon so their prices now closely resemble that of Manhattan nail salons. Gel manicure's are $30 which feels reasonable but is still kind of on the higher side for a Brooklyn nail salon. But their base pedicure for $25 is steep for what you get. Their location might look and feel more luxurious but their service for the pedicure and gel manicure have remained the same so I'm hard pressed to find their pedicure to be worth $25 right off the bat, a seven dollar increase is significant for a service that hasn't been altered. Anyway, their new location is much more spacious than their last one. It feels more open and airy, and it's designed tastefully with remnants of the previous place's decor which is a nice touch for returning customers who will appreciate the familiarity. The whole place looks gorgeous. There are 4 more manicure stations towards the back which can't be seen until you go back there. There's also seating there so that customers don't get too crowded in the front which is great. There are dividers between staff and customers and they use newly sanitized tools for each customer. Once you enter, Ken will confirm your appointment and then take your temperature. The tripod in front of the desk is their contact-less thermometer. He'll give you the book of color selections based on the service you booked and then you'll be seated with your nail tech once they're ready for you and you've chosen your color. Ken is a very hands on owner and remembers your face. He's very nice and hospitable. All the nail techs I've been serviced by these last few years are nice and really do their best to please you. They're attentive to your reactions and receptive to everything you have to say. I was notified during my last visit that they've got a new policy in place where they will repair/retouch your nails within 7 days of your service if there is a problem so that's nice to know. Overall, I still really love this nail salon. I'm a loyal customer because of their sublime execution for every service I've requested thus far and have never walked out of there dissatisfied. Besides their raise in prices, I stand by my initial five star rating for the quality and value I receive. I've built a relationship with this salon over the last couple of years and I feel just as valued to them as they are to me. Highly recommend trying them out and visiting their new and improved location. You'll feel relaxed and happy when you leave, I guarantee it.

If you are questioning coming here, DO IT. Glorious was my go-to spot, and I was devastated to lose them when I moved out to California early this year. Well, I’ve gotten my nails done 5 times this year, 6 including once right before I left, and 2/5 of those dip manicures were at glorious nails while I was home visiting family/friends. The photo attached is of my nails right now. I got these done at glorious on MAY 13TH. It is July 13th, and my nails are still going strong. Not a single break or bend, no chipping (except for the top coat a bit, but I work with my hands so that is expected, especially after TWO MONTHS) and they still look beautiful. While I wouldn’t recommend going this long between new sets, life gets in the way and their quality work rides it out with you! Their prices are also lower than anything I have been able to find out here in California, with far better and more consistent service. Do not hesitate, everyone here has always been incredible. So excited to get home and return to my regular status.🥰

I got my SNS here done about 2 weeks ago. It was my first time here as I got referred by someone and definitely my last. A week later 1 nail breaks and another tip started coming off that my hair would get caught underneath. I haven't had the time right away to fix it. I call today and they said I have to pay 5 for each nail. Meanwhile I paid $100 and even gave a $20 tip. Every other nail salon I've been to for the first time always tell me if I have a problem with a nail or something, they will fix it free of charge. Not this place. Money is never an issue because I always pay good money for nails to last a good month at least till my next appointment. This place just seems inconsiderate of their clients. Especially for new ones. And mind you, they never said anything about if your nail breaks or whatever. I'm sorry, but I truly feel this nail salon is just overpriced with horrible customer satisfaction and quality.

I loved this place, people are nice, service is nice , very clean and sterilized environment , however I went to get a regular pedicure this time instead of gel. They said they will charge extra $5 to remove their work . It doesn’t sound right to me you go to the same place but this time they charge you extra $5 to remove the gel polish if you get regular pedicure , but if you get gel pedicure they don’t charge. I call all the times to make an appointment he never told he will charge extra to remove gel polish if I get regular polish over the phone. I had to drive all away so he could tell me this in person but not over the phone. So long story short if you get gel pedicure from them and decide to get regular they will charge to remove their previous job, but if you get gel again they will not charge. The guy was like let me finish let me finish talking. The lady who did my pedicure she was so harsh on removing the gel that my toe nails burn now . I hav no nail left , they’re so thin, but I gave her tip anyways. I was trying to move my foot to give her the message that it hurts but instead she was holding my toe fingers tight so I couldn’t move my foot. No apologies no nothing. I am...
