I suggested changing the store closing time to 8:15pm instead. I got to the store at 8pm and just had to grab a few things. I know the store was closing so I made sure I was quick. At 8:10, all the refrigerator and vegetables section lights were off and by 8:15 entire stores light was off. And I was in the dark looking for the last item, so I just gave up. I walked to the register and I was bouncy between 2 registers because neither wanted to take me. Finally I just stuck with one. As I was waiting on line, there was only 1 person in front of me and she was almost done, an employee came up to me and asked me rudely, is the car in the parking lot mine and I said no and he preceded to ask the one Infront of me and she said yes. Then he said, " pickup your speed and go pay so you can move your car" , the customer said nicely: "sorry but I am waiting for all my items to be checked so I can pay." And the employee said: "well you should've paid earlier." I was mad for the women, I would've just left with those items there, but she just stayed quiet and paid and quickly left. And keep in mind, by the time I finished paying and left the store it was only 8: 22pm. I feel like I was being kicked out of the stores. If they don't want people to come and leave at 8:30, they should just...
Read morePrimarily wide-variety asian cuisine, but over the last few years they've been adding a little more 'american' variety. Their packaged meats are frozen, but never foul so I usually buy them here (have gotten foul meat labeled as fresh from C-Town a couple times) even though they don't always have beef. Fresh veggies and fruits are decent, but cheaper from 3 Guys for your average fresh produce. Almost always crowded, a lot of customers are rude (that seems to be a theme in this state), cashiers are very robotic but don't waste time, will start ringing the next person and pushing bags down before you've even grabbed yours. Hit or miss on if they're polite or not, I tend to go for the same ladies each time because it's nice to hear a thank-you when you say thanks, have a good day. The workers who restock are usually quite nice though! Just be polite back and move out of their way, I see so many customers just stand there and block the walkways. I've never been to the seafood counter because most isn't my type of food, and I don't care for how those live creatures are packed in, so unsure of the quality there. I usually shop here at least once a month. For fresh homemade meals and treats this is a decent...
Read moreAvoid going on weekends unless you don't mind getting trampled on! The market space is large and contains everything you need: fresh produce, snacks, even kitchenware. The prices are quite good, drawing a lot of Chinese shoppers. Brace yourself for reckless people attempting hit and run with their carts, children playing in the aisles, and disgruntled grocery workers. If possible, take advantage of the free underground parking lot. And if you are really brave or desperate, there's a public bathroom near the frozen section. On top of being an unpleasant experience, this market raises COVID concerns. Perhaps they need to start monitoring the amount of shoppers coming and going. Also not sure if they disinfect products, carts, etc. Social distancing is not...
