Jackson Heights Shopping Center — Attraction in New York

I mainly come here to get my meds that I need every month. Plus they sell many other items like toilet paper and very reasonable prices. Also paper towels and candy, sodas. Ice cream, orange juice, milk, eggs. They have a variety of Vitamins and over the counter if you have a cold and the flu. I buy the Walgreens brand just as good as a major brand plus you save money! Unfortunately some deodorants you need a key because people steal them. All kinds of makeup, lipsticks and expensive perfumes and cologne for men. T-shirts from Bryant High School. Gloves, hats. Dog and cat food! I love Walgreens mainly because they have free parking and you have Country Farm Super market. Santander Bank. Laundry place. Post office. Liquor store. Sherwin Williams if you need to paint! Pizza Restaurant and Carvel. Dentist. Chinese cuisine, Petsmart. This is the place to get many things at one stop. Place to buy things...

I have been going to this shopping area since the 1960's. I have seen all the changes and not for the good. The food store Universal is the low end of Best foods I think. They did that when Walbaum's was there and it was a value center. It is the only game in our area if you don't drive. I have seen HL Green become Genvosve drug store then Exckerds then RiteAid now Walgreen. There use to be a shoe store and a dress store a regular pharmacy a Lynnette all gone and replaced with what a paint store petco. I go because of the parking and the convenience only. I am lucky I can drive others in the area do not. If you look at a map of the area from Northern Blvd to 25th ave and 70th st and 86th st. there really isn't a grocery within walking distance in this area except the food store in the shopping center. It really isn't a center anymore just a collection...

Not the best shopping/strip mall that I've been to. None of the businesses stand our to me. It's like the businesses that are here are for the neighborhood. There's a SUBWAY that shares a building with a stationary store/Bodega of some sort. FYI, the food in the SUBWAY wasn't good. It was flavorless. Not even up to SUBWAY standards. There's a smattering of other stores like a Chinese food place and a pizzeria. There's a liquor store and a bank that are next to each other, I imagine, so that when you get paid 9n Friday you can go to the 🏧 and then your bottle of booze. There's a Food Universe supermarket here as well that's not bad. Although I would suggest bringing a sweater or something cause it's cold 🥶in there. Overall I would say that this shopping center is...
