Nice place to work. They care about the growth of each employee and support your career. Not a bad place to start off and to stay with the company. Downside other employees will help but won’t be nice about it and constantly gossip about other employees which is not professional and hr won’t support if they do they will make you feel a certain way, make other employee think negative things about you start very bad gossip won’t help when director isn’t there and when director is there lies to cover up and pretend to be kind and help. Hr lady Donna is evil she will make rude insults to employees very unprofessional and disgusting needs to be fired but who ever is related or has a connection with the owners obviously won’t be fired even for wrong doing which is not right. Beware about Donna acts all nice upfront but will definitely make you wonder if working here is worth it I made a quick glance looking back and this woman Donna was changing her smile into a vile smirk. Targets people who live in the area, and can easily replace you asap. BEWARE. Promotes to a non bullying zone but unprofessional employees will make rude comments beginning rumors, hr will support that assume and begin heavily terrible rumors yet they will teach kids not too however employees will carry one being heavily based on favoritism who looks attractive and stayed the longest or has a connection with the owners. Obviously a suspicious company and it is chilling what happens behind doors with close minded individuals who have a relation with the owner having “meetings” and passive aggressive behaviors being said to employees teachers to make them feel terrible about themselves no matter how hard they work easily to judge having terrible attitude instead of stepping up and helping without judgment which a supportive team members do unfortunately can’t change how some people think or perceive (family owned business what do you expect working here?)Don’t let them fool you don’t let their marketing and tactics fool or trap you into anything.)Don’t send your child here teachers are not kind and will say rude comments about the kids and unprofessional handled due to burnt out and stress( more kids than employees example 19 kids in a classroom with a head teacher and a ta when there should be 2 tas, director passes by making very rude comments saying it in a professionally manner but still not fair expect all kids to listen, act a certain way and response once and quickly which is understandable kids should dealing with multiple kids at once with lack of support kids with different needs and having some difficult employees doesn’t make the job any easier or feels like having professional support, got forbid you be too kind to the kids when they really need that extra emotional support left to cry and to you’re not a baby or stop crying you’re fine not nurturing whatsoever. Left this job for a reason. Don’t waste your time and hard working money on any programs offered. Horrible nasty employees and...
Read moreThe "assistant manager" of the store, treated me in a demeaning way upon intake of my pet. Although my appointment was at 3:15 and I arrived at 2:45, they took another customer without an appointment before me. By the time my documentation was gathered, Melanie (the "assistant manager") came on an examined the documents with a fine tooth comb. While this was my dogs first time at the location, I contacted the facility earlier in the morning to be sure I had everything that I needed before coming. The manager that I spoke to in the morning, didn't seem to be there when I arrived in the morning; but Melanie pretended to be her. She examined all documents for over 45 minutes while my dog was crying and experience great anxiety. I had to ask for water for my dog and I, myself, was feeling overwhelmed from the entire experience that I was being put through. The manager told me I needed to bring in proof of rabies vaccine, plus two other vaccines; although the Petco website only mentioned the rabies vaccine. In spite of bringing this documentation in, Melaine said the records were not sufficient because they didn't have expiration dates; even though the vaccines had been given in 2024. Upon further examination, Melanie refused to accept the e-signatures of the vet who my dog was seen by. She passively humiliated and dehumanized me for over 45 minutes and after submitting countless forms of proof to her, Melanie finally accepted my dogs information. By that point it was after 4:00 pm and the groomer cookie was scheduled to be seen by, said she was going home in an hour. Cookies visit was rushed and she was denied the full service that we scheduled her for, at the expense of how the manager chose to handle the matter. Somehow, my bill came to $80 even though I didn't get the full grooming package and then the manager applied "discounts"; although my charges didn't reflect what cookie got. I have before and after images of cookie and it seemed as though all she got was a bath and sanitary clean up. I am very disappointed in the experience that Petco provided, not only to me but to my dog who is still adjusting after being in a shelter. There was no one else on call at the store, to better assist me and as a result, I was under the microscope of someone who lacked empathy/care for my pet and I. She explained that the actual manager, Janette, would be back from vacation sometime next week. I expect to be compensated for the distress that the assistant manager of the store put me and...
Read moreAll the staff has been very kind to us, unfortunately we do not speak English and communication has not been able to be fluid, however they have always been very kind, but today we live something very annoying and that we consider irresponsible and for this I am putting a negative comment. The situation is that we bring our kitten here and pay her a plan that includes vaccination and tests, some tests came out positive and something had to be done about it, when we received the results I requested an appointment when I saw that they came out positive, they told me that my kitten was still very young and that they could not do anything yet, they gave me an appointment for a month later, I took her and they put her first dose of deworming and some vaccine, they rescheduled an appointment for a month later for the next Step, the appointment was today, we went there and they told us that my kitten had two parasites, that they could not do anything else to her because we first had to go to another veterinarian to help us with the parasites since they did not have the services to fight said bacteria, our annoyance is why they tell us this until this appointment? If they have those results since before they gave him his first dose, why did they perform procedures in the last appointment and even this appointment they tell us that they can't do anything with what he has? We were confident that they were taking care of our cat because they had the results and already knew what she had, why do they tell us until this appointment that they can't help us with that or that they can do anything to her? We have lost a whole month and our kitten continues with the same parasites, if they were interested in the process of my animals they would have told me from the beginning to look for another veterinarian and take care of the matter so that today they could provide me with the Service that I paid for and my cat needs, but only until today they decided to tell me that they could not do anything. What a lack of communication and commitment to my cat's process, there is a translator that we could use if that can be the excuse and in fact I am using it to write this, but I say that they are simply messy and did not communicate with each other to provide us with the appropriate information for us to do everything...
