Jump Shotz — Attraction in New York

Let me start by saying I never write reviews & I used to LOVE this place. We’ve done many birthdays & open gym sessions here. When we called to schedule a booking, the website was not working. We downloaded an app that was not working either. We left several messages and had to call several times because no one got back to us. Finally, we spoke to someone and made them aware it was for my brother’s birthday to hang out, we did not need cake or food, just the gym. Upon arrival the older gentleman asked if it was a closed session. I said no it was for a bday. He told my boyfriend to throw out his drink & that it was not allowed BUT I came for a bday party 2 weeks prior and had a fresh drink in my hand and a different man said nothing to me. Not a problem, he threw out his drink. They never told me a limit to how many people were allowed, nor is it stated on the website. They also DO NOT have a party package on the website to book. As people come in, he starts telling me there were too many people and if he knew there were going to be this many, he would’ve got more adults to watch the kids. There were several adults in my family were there sitting on the sidelines to make sure everyone was in order. The man kept pressing the issue that we were being deceitful when we booked the gym, and we needed to pay more money for the extra kids. We said we would pay the money for the extra kids, but we explained what the situation was on the phone & that we were NOT able to book on the website. The older gentleman did not care, started being rude and raised his voice. He said for birthdays they offer more balls, cake & food. I assured him I did not want that, I just wanted them to have an open gym to play in safely. The man kept repeating that I was lying, that his staff was properly trained, and I was wrong & deceitful. He also stated that we didn’t book the party package on the website and purposely avoided it as it would cost extra. Again, we came here 2 weeks prior for someone else’s birthday and had no problems when it was a younger man watching he gym. I bought my drink in, he took pictures for us, and it was a great night. I don’t know what happened this year, but we will NOT be coming back. He was unprofessional and rude and if it was a miscommunication he could’ve left it at that. He did not have to start yelling or being rude to SEVERAL people...

Facility is beautiful and clean. It’s a great gym for basketball. My daughters have trained here and attended camps with their knowledgeable, fun, amazing staff. Anthony and Sal are the best! They have trained my daughters for many years; taking their game to the next level. This spacious gym is also set up to play Pickleball. My friends and I really enjoy playing here and appreciate the easy scheduling and ample parking. Great sound system that allows you to play your own music! Anthony and Sal are friendly, professional and always very accommodating when scheduling the gym...

This place customer service is terrible. they have one phone that all or 3 workers use to book sessions and they still somehow told me a time was available and the next day told me it wasn’t. i have people that pushed work back or up and also called out to play because we don’t get a lot of time to do anything but work. and then after realizing the situation whoever was on the phone said i should have sent a deposit. when i told them that no one answered me when i asked to lock it in they got a condescending attitude. would not recommend or...
