Michaels — Local services in New York

I recently threw a birthday party for my 10 year old and was very disappointed. First of all the normal party is an hour and a half that didn't seem like enough time to me so I booked double the time. Second of all I go to Michaels for make break and kids craft with my children and there was a specific employee we requested who told us she would be available we arrived at the place and they had nothing set out ready and the girl we asked for wasn't there I specifically told the to call me if she couldn't come I wanted a young girl that o new would help the girls and interact with them (the lady we had did nothing and was rude)she barely did anything if the time is so tight you would think they would have the stuff set up to start when the girls arrived with they didn't she was not efficient with the timing for her craft because if she was the crafts would have been done with in the time frame of an hour and a half which they weren't by the time she did the three crafts that Michaels were to provide it was already an hour into the next hour and a half I'm very disappointed as how they rushed me out when the girl was not even helping with anything we just began to eat when she said we only have ten minutes left I had to sing my daughter happy birthday while everyone was just served the food horrible if you are going to throw a party go somewhere else and all the deserts had to be grabbed while the kids were leaving I was...

I am a frequent shopper and the other night my husband and I went in at around 8pm which is the usual time we go cause of our jobs. Well anyways as we entered we were immediately followed throughout the whole store! You know how uncomfortable we felt?! We are fairly young , in our mid 20's not sure if that had something to do with it but I have never been so angry in my life. Literally every single aisle the same person would start "picking up" around us. When I would look up they were looking at us. The worker and the very obvious secret shopper were constantly around. I grabbed what I needed for my project and quickly went to the register. Do something about this! This is completely rude. I usually love Michael's and don't usually shop at this location, but I went the other day. The woman who worked in the frame section was so rude nasty and condescending. She needs to learn how to speak and deal with people. Instead of being helpful and kind, she was nasty and miserable. If you hate working with people, Go work somewhere else. She made me so uncomfortable, and I will never shop at this...
