Dear Kohl’s Management,
I am writing to share my very disappointing experience at your store. This is not the first time I have faced such treatment, but this time it was especially unprofessional.
I came to the store to pick up an online Instacart order (we also sometimes shop at Kohl’s for our family’s own needs). When I arrived, I politely explained my situation and even showed my order. Instead of helping me, the employees told me: “It’s your job, go look for it yourself.” I asked several different staff members for assistance, but all of them refused to help, saying it was not their responsibility.
One of the employees I approached appeared to be a manager (an African American woman with a walkie-talkie). I explained politely and asked her to check or confirm if the items were in stock. Her answer was simply: “No, that’s your job. If you can’t find it, then it’s not here.”
This attitude is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Employees in the store are being paid to assist customers, not to dismiss them. A basic level of customer service should include checking availability, guiding customers, and at least showing sympathy. Unfortunately, what I experienced was the opposite — rudeness, unwillingness to help, and a complete lack of professionalism.
I would like to respectfully request that Kohl’s management review this store’s customer service standards, provide proper training to staff, and take corrective action. Customers deserve respect and support, not dismissal. In other states such as Texas, I have always received excellent, friendly service at Kohl’s, so I am very surprised and disappointed by the service at this location.

Read moreI went to Sephora today to buy cologne unfortunately, I was treated very bad by both the manager and one of the associates at the store one girl that works there she wears a hijab around her head The reason why I’m mentioning this is because of the fact that she lied to me about a product and told me that they didn’t have it in stock so I left the store and I came back 10 minutes later and came up to a different associate and when they associate went to the back and got that product that I was looking for I ask that girl didn’t you tell me that you didn’t have it, she said That she just got a new shipment, but how can that be possible? I asked her there was no way that a new shipment came in 10 minutes later this occurred around 7:00 PM. I just want to be treated like everyone else is being treated. She discriminated she didn’t wanna give me anything. She didn’t even want to work with Me, I can honestly say I have never been so disappointed in my life. We live in 2025 and people still act like we are in World War II. she could’ve just told me I don’t wanna do business with you because of who you are and easily walked away but the way she acted when we caught her lying was disgusting. The manager who came to speak to me, her name was Maria. I will never forget how she acted towards me. I would love to file a lawsuit. I just don’t know who to go to. Read moreion ever have problems with this place. i always go and get good clothes but just yesterday i was in the fitting room with my daughter trying on clothes for a party that day. this party is REALLY important so i had to get many clothes to check for me, my daughter, and my older daughter. we were both trying on clothes and a lady comes out of NOWHERE, OPENS THE DOOR, and says we have to get out because we’ve been in there for an hour. I know it’s a lot but it’s because we got a lot of clothes. But she should’ve knocked. We say okay we’ll be out soon and later they come again. we do the same and try to try on clothes faster. My daughter stood in front of the door because i told her that i did not want them to open the door while i’m changing. guess what? a lady came. a different one this time. she is dressed in all black and looks like shes apart of security. she knocks aggressively and opens the door hard. i see my daughter try to push back because i’m changing back but she lets go because i tell her to. again we get told to get out, and she moves from the door to show the lady who she was because i told her to. she yells out to someone “it’s a mother and a daughter” then looks at us and leaves. We never have problems in the fitting room but we don’t know why we were told to get out many times. I know we were there for hours but i need an explanation.
