For most of my younger years, 20’s 30’s I was 120, 135 max. After my second child my skinny frame remained but my stomach was always a concern, probably was an extra 4lbs on that area alone. I exercised a lot, changed diet but nothing was moving the stomach fat. I was also very athletic and always boasted a good body and then this..... Eventually I came to the realization that I needed some help, so I visited a few places in the city, some I saw celebrities visited but ultimately I chose Doc Grossman in Brooklyn. On my visit just for the consultation I decided, if I must then I will do my lipo here for sure. The staff, the facilities and of course Doc Grossman made me felt confident enough to make up my mind. He knew his job, he explained the whole procedure to me and I decided there and then yes! I am going to let him help me feel better and look better. I scheduled the procedure and had it done and it was perfect. I was told it was painful after the procedure but I did not experience anything excruciating pain. On some days I took 400 mg Motrin if I experience discomfort but for the most part I was great. I experienced minimal drainage. I did experience some swelling in the lower abdomen but I did realize it was because my body healed so fast. I was removing the healing skin to keep the wounds open to continue draining but the body wanted to heal faster than I could remove the scabbing so I just allowed it. I watched my progress, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months etc. I literally saw my shape reconfigured and my body coming back. Most importantly, on each visit, Doc Grossman checked on my diet, my exercise routine and he kept on giving me tips to improve even more. Oh, and within exactly three months, I was not able to find any scars from the procedures. I literally did not use and creams to rub the area, the scars were hard to notice from inception but I was stunned to see there were absolutely no scars at all. I went to see Dr. Grossman after I had a rare reaction to previously injected filler. Parts of my face, particularly under my eyes and around my mouth, lost volume after the filler had to be dissolved due to infection. Despite my hesitation about having any more procedures done to my face, I sought consultation with Dr. Grossman in an effort to seek safe, gentle, and lasting improvements to my skin. During the initial consultation, the staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Despite my nerves, I felt comfortable. The environment was clean and reassuring. After speaking with Dr. Grossman, I agreed to have a fat transfer from the sides of my waist to my face. I was optimistic about using my own tissue to improve the appearance of my skin as opposed to filler product. I am very petite and was concerned Dr. Grossman would not be able to secure enough fat tissue for the procedure. Nonetheless, the process was successful.

I did not experience any pain immediately following the surgery, just some tightening/pressure under the skin of my cheeks. I did swell for the first few days but did not have any bruising. The staff, including Dr. Grossman, were very patient with me as I was nervous about the swelling which subsided significantly after the first 48 hours. Everyone was extremely comforting. My sides (where the fat was removed) were a bit sore, but nothing some Advil could not relieve.

It has only been one week since my procedure and the condition of my skin has drastically improved. I am very pleased with the results. There are no scars and the injection sites on my face are undetectable. Dr. Grossman is very meticulous and competent, as evidenced by the results of my procedure.
