Liquor & Wine Warehouse of Brooklyn — Attraction in New York

This place is really convenient in terms of parking and store hours. Its next to net cost market. I like the deals they have for the holidays with cute glasses at no additional cost in various gift sets, especially for patron and rumchata. I also see special edition deals for holiday flavors like peppermint and spiced rums which is a plus. I did like how the manager and floor clerks were very easy to talk to and helpful, they helped me find good scotch from Scotland and they have other Japanese top shelf items which many other stores in the area are lacking. The manager helped me find sauza ( had no idea they become hornitos label so I learned something new lol). The lines also moved really fast and we were able to get a box free of charge to pack everything. What holds me back from giving higher rating is that the wine in this store for popular brands like San Antonio cost higher in bulk then other stores, (i saw a $2 difference here ) so I am not sure if you are getting the best price possible for wine specifically. I would come back in the future to see what types of stock will run deals for wine maybe it...

I recently purchased wine from this store and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Everything seemed fine during checkout I paid $70.73, and the cashier packed the wine for me. However, when I arrived home and went to take the bag out of the car, the entire bottom of the bag gave out. All of the wine bottles fell out and shattered in the street, except for one.

I was extremely upset, as the cause was clearly the poor quality of the bag provided by the store. I immediately called to explain what happened and expressed that I felt the store should take responsibility, as this was their packaging and not something I mishandled. Despite this, they refused to offer a refund, replacement, or even an apology.

As a loyal customer who has shopped here many times including buying entire boxes of wine in the past I’m truly disappointed by the lack of accountability and customer care. What a shady establishment. I have been shopping at this store for quite some time now. It was alright until I was sold a faulty bottle of wine yesterday. It was a $20 bottle of wine that was already bad, spoiled and corky by the time I opened it up. It happens to wine sometimes, and it’s not customers fault. It was basically undrinkable and so I headed back to the store to have it exchanged or refunded. I was shocked to learn from the store managers that the store policy doesn’t allow for any refunds, even if the products they sold were faulty or gone bad! Wow. I’ll be sure to never shop here again and notify all my friends about how this establishment treats its long time customers. Fortunately there’s a lot of liquor stores around to choose from.
