Attended the 35 annual dragon boat race held at meadow lake park. My son represented DCH team. Was there to support. While it’s a beautiful day, it was hot and we continuously hydrated with water. There were plenty of Portal Potties but I prefer a real flushable toilet. I want to give a shout out to Michelle who single-handedly attended 4 stalls of the ladies room. Read moreIt gets crowded pretty fast on the weekends. And there is plenty of parking. Some parts of the park is renovated, but the roads needs to be re-paved, not too ideal for biking. There are flood and wet areas on the far side of the lake. The far side doesn't allow cars so it's more secluded, be careful as there is less people for security.
