Playground For All Children — Attraction in New York

First of all I want to say this is it and can be a five-star playground. I hate to give this playground three stars because it actually is very nice. If you take your child here make sure you keep a good eye on him or her. It’s easy for your kid to get lost here. The only reason I give it three stars is just because it seems that the parks department is not taking care of the playground. It is beautiful they have school buses make-believe school house and much more for your little ones imagination to run wild. But it seems like the park department is not keeping up with painting, cleaning, fixing the grounds. This is honestly one of the best playgrounds I’ve ever taken my kids to.

It’s just sad that it’s not being taken care of the way it should be. I’ve been to other playgrounds in nice neighborhoods where i constantly see parks department personnel fixing and cleaning but for some reason this playground doesn’t get the same treatment I have my own thoughts on it but I’ll leave those thoughts...

This playground is at 11101 Corona Ave, Corona, NY 11368. It is located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Whats unusual about this playground is that in addition to the playground equipment that you would find at the other playgrounds here in this park or in most other parks, there is equipment especially designed for children with various types of physical disabilities.

This allows children with disabilities and those without to play together in a way that doesn't seem to be related to their disabilities but rather allows the kids to have fun together in a very "natural" way.\r .

Many local kids (both those with disabilities and those without) use it as their neighborhood park. Its right off the Grand Central Parkway and close to most other roads. I would certainly suggest going their , especially on a nice day (its very open so it gets windy and chilly when the weather is not good) when you are in...

This outdoor playground is a fantastic place for kids to have fun, even though it's not the cleanest.
