i left this review for Teddy Vw it was not meant for them it was meant for these scammers.
THIS IS THE REVIEW YOU WANT TO READ (RUN FOR YOUR LIFE) Hello everyone, I had left a great review in May after buying my 2020 Passat from them. I am 27 years old working as a doorman and someone who lived in the building ended up getting a job there so they said they could work out a deal. Long story short I currently have an open case with vw for a buyback. The Passat died on me 3 times in the middle of traffic with my family members in the car. Iâm not joking when I say this the car is a DEATH TRAP. Theres so much to this story but Iâll try to keep it short. So after the car dying 4 days from the purchase date I asked the manager to take the car back and have it towed to the shop to fix it. The manager didnât want anything to do with me. He made my friend ( the employee) paid for the tow truck. When I asked for a car swap he said âno ââyouâre on your ownâ. I have proof of all of this btw. After they claiming they solved the issue the car dies again in the middle of traffic. I fought with these people so much I almost did some unspeakable things. They didnât want to help me out. So they claimed they fixed the car again (2nd time) . Guess what happened? the car died on me again in the middle of traffic. I had to beg the people I work with to meet me and help me push the car. So now the car is being fix for the 3rd time in less than 4 months !!!!!!!!!! so guess what happens nowâŚâŚâŚ.. they claim they fixed it âŚâŚâŚâŚâŚthe car died on me again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the dealership your dealing with. These people did not help me one bit. They literally left me for dead. I would never advise anyone to go here even if youâre getting a deal. So check this out I bought the car in May. It's dec 27 and my car is still dead on the streets getting ticked, paying insurance and the car loan. Not to mention my 5k lyft bill because I can't get to work. So currently I'm at a 15k loss from May until now with all the expenses. And there is no timeline for my buyback so I'm estimating a 20k loss. I regret this so much I wish I never did this. This had set me back so much in life that it's not even funny. This is not even the full story. There were so many bad things and not one thing positive happened dealing with them. So I advise you to keep your money and go elsewhere TRUST ME. If there comfortable leaving, there 27 year old customer for dead then they will leave you for dead also. ( I dare anyone from this place to respond and say Iâm lying we can turn this review page into a warzone with all the facts and proof I got) if anyone is going through this and needs help donât be afraid to respond to this I will try to help out. IF I WASNâT AT SUCH A GREAT LOSS I WOULDVE GOTTEN LYAWER AND TOOK THIS CASE TO COURT. I THINK I HAVE A 99% TO WIN IF I SUE THEM. I JUST CAN'T TAKE THAT RISK WITH ANOTHER EXPENSE WHEN IM ALREADY DOWN 15K.
-10000000 OUT OF 10 EXPERINCE I WOULD RATHER CUT MY FINGERS OFF THAN TO DEAL WITH THESE SCAMERS
27 years old Car total was around 31-32k. Put 5k cash down. Finance the rest with Chase. FROM MAY UP UNTIL DEC 27 THE WAS ON WORKING FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS IT WAS DEAD FOR OR IN THE SHOP FOR THE REST OF TIME
I asked for a return â they said no. I asked for a rental 3 times -they said no. I asked for a car swap 3 times â they said no. What does a person do in this situation? (and they donât know whatâs wrong...
Read moreDONT'BUY HERE. A hellish nightmare. At the beginning, I wanted to like these guys, but basically everything they have said or promised is a LIE. They say or do anything - nice words - and they follow up on NOTHING. First: we've waited 8 weeks - and still counting - for a title. They gave us a defective title, made out to some other person. Our state (which has normal procedures, not particularly onerous) explained why they couldn't accept it. We contacted NOTB and explained it, and they said, oh, we are sorry: overnight us the title, and we'll reimburse you (LIE - they never did) and get it right back to you (LIE - they did not, and a week later, we had to call them for it.) And what they eventually sent us was still defective, and could not be used to title and register the car. The local DMV explained that we needed either a statement of correction for the title, or a new title. We drove 5 hours in person to NOTB and explained this, and they said, yes, we understand, we know how to do this. We will email you one and also postal mail you a copy. (LIE - they never did.) And when we didn't get one by a week later, we called, and they said, oh, what do you want now? We don't know how to do that.) (BTW, I can name the names associated with "they":. Initials KP and YR [or YR-M]. On the phone, KP then said, we'll do a replacement title. It takes about a week. 2 weeks later, we still don't have it. It seems as if we will have to pursue legal remedies. And - at the time of sale, they promised a second car key; they said they needed to get it from the previous owner and then they would reprogram it. And we could pick it up some time. We asked 2 weeks prior to our visit, and "they" assured us they would have it for us. When we arrived - guess what? They didn't have it. (Another LIE). They said, oh, we'll send you the money to have your own second key made. Wanna guess whether they actually do that? You guessed right - almost certainly another LIE. They will say or do anything to get you to go away. But, since I can't drive a car that isn't titled or registered, I am going to have to pursue legal action against these unscrupulous and unethical people. And that brings me to another LIE - I paid cash - and they assured me they would not run a hard credit check. Guess what I found out when I opened my mail a week ago. Right! They ran a hard credit check on me - even though I was a 100% cash buyer and did not for one moment express the slightest interest in any financing - partial or full. Oh, and, you be the judge of whether their state safety inspection was "pencil-whipped" or not. They passed their own car, even though I noticed it would need new tires soon. By "soon", I didn't think I'd need them NEXT WEEK, because of immediately failing my own state's inspection. (LIE again?) So - if you want to be treated like garbage by liars - yes, by all means, come to Nissan of the Bronx and buy a car. Otherwise, AVOID THEM...
Read moreI brought my vehicle in on Monday 2/ 20, and picked up my vehicle 3/1 with no work completed. The first course of action needed was an electrical diagnostic which was explained to me that they needed 48 hours to complete. 48 hours pass and I do not hear from my agent so I call and have to wait for a call back (which happens often in this story because not once did I receive a call back I always had to follow up first) after 48 hours I speak to my agent and she proceeds to tell me they completed the diagnostic and it could be a short, a fuse, a corroded wire, etc. I wasnât satisfied with this because it just seemed so general considering they did the electrical diagnostic. So I asked when will they start actually working on the problem and I was told Monday because they (electrical) doesnât work the weekend. Okay⌠given itâs Thursday so for some reason they skip right over Friday completely. By Wednesday I still havenât heard anything so I call again. I speak to the agent and she is still using the same vauge language used before to describe the problem with the car but now sheâs also saying the car started on its own without pressing the brakes (itâs push to start) it did not do that when I dropped it off and btw when I picked it up it wasnât either so I can assume that was lie like 5 at this point. Anyway it is Wednesday (8 days in ) now and the tech has nothing and ask for one more day and I agree. Thursday comes and it is now after 3 PM and I still have not heard from my agent. I call and as always I have to wait for a callback. When I speak to her she tells me there is no update, but the tech would âneed more timeâ. Iâm finally at my wits end and say no I will come get the car and take it elsewhere. I should mention during this call she tells me 10 days may seem like a lot but some cars with electrical issues have been there for months! Like that is okay! The next day Friday comes and I pick up my vehicle and my charges are $0 because they literally never did anything not even the diagnostic I brought it in for in the first 48 hours. Upon getting the car back I spoke to a guy in the shop who confirmed when he drove my car up from the electrical shop he did have to use the brake to start it . At this point a few of the guys from the shop tried to play with the fuse box to see if they could remove the error message and get the cars interior power on, which I really appreciated the effort. Ultimately I took the vehicle elsewhere. The lack of concern for time is what killed the experience here for me . As a single person I was paying for Ubers to travel while waiting for my car and it was pretty annoying to see after 10 days nothing had been done...
