Or St Lucy's grotto as it's known locally has always been a very beautiful and relaxing place to go. You can draw your holy water sit and relax on the benches and go inside and however in the last couple of years it's ridiculous how it's gotten you have people going there to wash their cars with holy water although we all know that the water is just a spicket pouring water down The grotto the bishop has been there in the past and blessed that that so-called spicket the Cascades the water over the rocks now you have people pulling their cars up filling buckets upon buckets of water which take time the lines are horrendous for those waiting to fill their little personal bottles of water while others feel buckets and buckets so they can walk out to the curb and proceeded to wash and detail their cars. Not only is it disrespectful and inconsiderate to others waiting but if you want to wash your car go home and do it in your yard with your garden hose or pay the 10 $12 and go to a car wash it's totally ridiculous it's gotten to where I don't even go visit anymore and I've lived in this neighborhood going on forty years and it's always been in place of solace and relaxation for me and my family now it's turned out to be more like a gang...
Read moreSt. Lucy's is truly a humble and welcoming church community that has been a wonderful blessing in my spiritual journey. Led by Father Robert, who has been incredibly helpful and supportive, this church is a place of peace and genuine faith. It's not big or extravagant, but that is exactly what makes it such a perfect place of worship—simple, sincere, and centered around God. The elders of the community have made me feel so welcome, even as someone of my age, and their encouragement to keep attending has been invaluable. Father Martin's sermons are not only entertaining but also deeply insightful, leaving you with a sense of joy and the wisdom of God's word. I am truly grateful to St. Lucy’s for providing me with a sense of solitude and helping me grow closer to God.
