There isn't really much to do in this park.
It is small and the entrance is this little, tiny fence door that can only let 1 person in at a time. If you're on a date, this is the time to hold hands from the back.
The space opens up to this giant lot which from all the signs that I saw posted was kind of like a food fair of sorts on the weekends. Think Smorgasburg in terms of space but I'd doubt they have the same quality and amount of vendors in comparison.
Off to the piers you can walk to the edge and see what I'm pretty sure is the Verrazano Bridge and the view of the East River in all it's filthy glory. People just happened to be jet skiing at the time and I can't help but wonder which one of those people is going to sprout a 3 leg.
There are benches to sit and just watch the water, the bridge and the Statue of Liberty which can been seen clear as day.
Good after date night spot but there really isn't any restaurant around except for this shoddy bar that I doubt anyone really goes to. I could be wrong and I won't know that until I make another visit down there.
