This is one of the places you should visit if you want to get to know Brooklyn better. On Saturdays in particular they have events there as well. The place is small so the tour will be quick unless there is an exhibit in there. One of the times I went there was an wonderful artist show and I stayed and talked to the artist for about 20+ minutes.

So cool to be shown around by Captain David who lives there and to find out about the history of the barge and the area. Free to enter, but you can give a donation if you wish.
