Underrated spot in red hook due to the distance from the train but so worth the journey if you aren’t a local. Come for the cocktails (not just whiskey based for those who are averse) but stay for the brilliant people behind the bar and menu, Jacob and Christine. Seriously Jacob, the mixologist, is a genius and changes up the menu seasonally, and there is no one kinder and more attentive than Christine, who makes sure your experience is a wonderful booze-induced dream.

   Read moreThis bar has everything. Great cocktails (it is right next to a distillery). It is easily the best looking bar in south Brooklyn. Much of the bar is basically large french doors that open to the cobble stone streets of Red Hook making it a great place to be on a nice night.
