Underrated spot in red hook due to the distance from the train but so worth the journey if you aren’t a local. Come for the cocktails (not just whiskey based for those who are averse) but stay for the brilliant people behind the bar and menu, Jacob and Christine. Seriously Jacob, the mixologist, is a genius and changes up the menu seasonally, and there is no one kinder and more attentive than Christine, who makes sure your experience is a wonderful booze-induced dream. Don’t sleep on the citrusy olives and thank you for not judging me when I order a gin martini at a whisky distillery.

We stopped in for a couple of drinks and flights. I've been a big fan of Widow Jane 10yr bourbon, but I haven't had the chance to try many others in my area. I tried a flight with Lucky 14, Decadence and The Vaults. All were good, but by a landslide I lived The Vaults. It's a blend of their oldest bourbons and aged a second time. Everyone with me enjoyed their cocktails. It's a cool space with a cool and knowledgeable staff.9

1/5/25 our third time here and today we sat for a flight and bourbon shortbreads. Greg did not like the pumpkin bourbon too grassy and hard to finish. The other two were very good. He skipped the finest flight as all three are already in our home. The staff here is awesome and if you love Widow Jane it’s a must stop. Have taken the tour and really enjoyed it! Small cozy bar space.

This bar has everything. Great cocktails (it is right next to a distillery). It is easily the best looking bar in south Brooklyn. Much of the bar is basically large french doors that open to the cobble stone streets of Red Hook making it a great place to be on a nice night.

The only thing it does not have is a crowd. It is relatively crowded during the weekend days and nights, but from Monday evening to Thursday evening it is dead. For me that is a good thing because it means I can go with friends or a date and have the place...

These people ruined the entire neighborhood. Buncha stuck up d*bags. wish all these people would go back to wyoming or vermont wherever theyre from. They're also responsible for putting up these horrid murals all over too, if I was that talentless Id be too ashamed to put my work up in public (Where do they find these "artists"?), but it's pretty apparent these people have no shame to begin with. Before they came to this neighborhood it was a...
