This place is a fraud. Be careful when signing a contract they lie about how many days you have to cancel without paying any cancellation fees. They'll tell you it's a week when it's actually three days and they will not refund your money and they will charge you for the month and the buy out fee. Even if you cancel four days later. When I signed my contract the guy told me I had a week to cancel without being charged any fees. I went back 4 days later because I decided to cancel and sign up in a few months because I got another job and going to the gym for now wouldn't be possible and the person that was there told me it's not a week it's 3 days either you pay the cancellation fee or we will charge you monthly even if you don't come to the gym. I was in shook of how unprofessional they were and how entitled they feel to your money after they trick you into signing and giving them your account information. And thinking about it. It makes sense why they lie and say a week and not three days because if you are like me and like to do things right they know if you change your mind you will go before the 3 days and they would have made no money. so they make you comfortable with thinking it's a week because if they're in luck you'll be back by the fourth, fifth or even sixth day and it will be to late they already got you and your money no matter what. It's a scam. They charged me 58 to cancel and after I cancelled the guy said oh by the way I'm also charging you the month. I brought it to the managers attention finally after countless times of trying to reach her and the employees always saying the manager is not here and she was as unprofessional as them and didn't even know if it was a week or three days or what their policies were. So she said I'll call you tomorrow because I know it's something like a week or something (Yup the managers words). I called the next day and she just brushed it off and said it's three days we won't be refunding anything. All these people do is lie. I'm a mother of two children I could of used that money on anything else. Instead they took it out of my account in such a fraudulent way. You can not have your staff lying about the contract and then hold the customer accountable for believing what was told to them by someone they trust knows the policies and will be honest. It is wrong. What kind of gym is this? and what kind of lying and fraudulent people...

I asked for a copy of my membership contract which has my actual hand writing and told her it was a fake and I would take it up w the BBB she did not care and gave me more attitude being that I'm pregnant I just left Instead of getting further upset but all of that for $25 to end it I ended a contract and I just want that Magee fired before I can go back for my snap back this is my community not hers and it's wrong she forged my name to try to prove a point she could not...
Read moreI recently rejoined PF after the pandemic restrictions and returned to this location for the first time in two years. The state of the machines and equipment are in complete disrepair. Went on the incline chest press machine-the left handled peg to keep the 5lb weight up was broken. Then went to the chest/back fly machine-it was missing the hand grips and the peg to adjust the angle of the handles was broken. Got frustrated and went to a treadmill. Started running and it was wobbly and unstable. Went to another-same thing. Went to a third!!!! And that one would shut off automatically after one minute. That happened several times. So, in frustration, I decided to try the stair master for my cardio. Two of the six machines were out of service. The one I got on the speed button by the handle was exposed and would not work properly. Jesus Christ this place is a disaster. First off, the treadmills all need to replaced. They are several generations old. I have been to several locations that have replaced their treadmills TWICE while this location had the same models. On a positive note, one of the staff remembered me immediately after a two year absence. That was so nice. The only other thing this location has going for it is square footage. Plenty of room. These are the only reason to go to this location as opposed to the nearby South Ave. location which is well kept but smallish. I think Planet Fitness corporate really needs to take a look at the condition of this location. It is getting to the point where someone might get hurt. And this is squarely on the management of this location getting someone in to repair the equipment. If the franchisee has to pay for repairs then we know why this location...
