The library itself is fine. I think the fact it has a kids section is cool and there seems like a lot of events for them on the calendar. Nice since I have a little brother, but I can imagine it’s annoying to older people that are trying to do something else in the other sections. The staff has been consistently somewhat rude to me whenever I’ve visited but I do tend to go to the library ~1-2 hours before closing so that might contribute to it. Read moreIt's Really a shame what Queens Libraries have become!! Oversighted, this one in particular is kind of gross. It seems as they haven't had any kind of maintenance at this location in years! As you enter you're slapped with the odor of old books and sweat. The floors, bathrooms, bookshelves and tables look like they have been properly cleaned in ages.
