I previously rated this place 5 stars due to the amazing first impression they gave when NYC restaurants were allowed to start indoor dining again. Every encounter after this has been atrocious. I ordered a delivery and they forgot half of my order. I called the restaurant to complain and the driver called me to confront me about making my complaint, only because he had the other half in his car and wanted me to wait until he delivered other orders in the area before he made a circle back to my home. Talk about irresponsible and disrespectful! After a month my husband ordered another delivery and they left out all the cold items like salad, sauces and the drink he ordered. When he called the lady who answered the phone told him the driver was given the complete order, but she would just give him an additional salad and soda on his next order if he didn't get it. Seriously?!? (After he paid for his order expecting everything that he requested and gave a tip to the driver that didn't do his job!) That driver took 15 minutes to return with the missing bag. Seems as tho poor management is their thing. Anyhow one day driving by my husband felt for their chicken. The chef is indeed amazing BUT the customer service is horrendous. We went inside made our order, the young waitress had no idea of the menu items. I asked for a glass of red wine, she brought it filled to the rim and it was appalling! Tasted like dirty water with cheap alcohol. So I asked the waitress, What type of red wine is this?, She answers well ummm it's red wine. So I gave her an unimpressed look. She went on to say, well it comes in bulk It doesn't have a name or a label with a shrug... So I asked why would you serve me dirty water and call it red wine? She then said okay umm soooo... I then asked her to please remove the unidentified substance she brought. She removed it from the table but still put it on the bill. She also did not offer me anything else to replace it, like a cup of water, juice, beer or soda. She just kept away from the table and sent another oblivious teen to finish up her dirty work. So a man walks in and looks around the kitchen and starts ordering the staff around. I asked him if he was the Owner or Manager he replied Yes. I told him about our less than acceptable experience as he gave a me a long stare without any acknowledgement or apology for his staff. He said he was aware of the delivery issue. After I was done he said just remove $5.00 for the red wine from their bill as if it was an effective solution to the awful service we received on multiple occasions, so I made it clear we would not return due to the lack of care and total disregard for the customers that spend their money at his establishment. I would not recommened this place to anyone! Management obviously doesn't care about the welfare of this establishment and as a customer I refuse to support their ignorance. I encourage others...
Read moreI called last night Thursday aprox 930ish pm a young lady picked up the phone, my intention was to place a pick up order she informed me the kitchen was closed and couldn’t help me followed by taking my order when she inquire if I was picking up or delivery she goes sorry but i can’t help you the kitchen is closed.
1 why bother taking the order was she trying to play a practical joke on me ?
2 I find this hurtful because I take medication based on food so while she is taking my order I felt relief because I found a place I can grab a bite followed by my important medications.

Read morePicked up my order to find the chicken was not good well it was red inside, the steak not the way I asked for it. Then they took almost an hour to replace the food. The second steak they delivered I needed a saw to cut thru it, it was like they sent me a really bad cut of the steak for complaining. They advertise Churrasco steak and it wasn’t even a Churrasco steak. first time ordering there I wasted close to $70 for a bad meal and the kids went to bed after 9pm waiting to eat.
