I usually pick up my coffee and bread for breakfast and sometimes would sit to enjoy my morning, Instead today the lady at the counter aske me if I had my covi 19 vaccine or card.
I felt insulted and demeaning that someone with no medical background or experience would blatantly discriminate me by asking to produce my personal medical status that's very disturbing specially when she refuse to show her vaccination records which is NOT displayed in that establishment.
I observed other clients walk in and get their breakfast with no problems not showing any medical personal records or claiming that they have one also where are the directives posted?
Stating by NYC rotten made up laws that you have to be vaccinated when entering a an enclosed environment and also the mandated 6 feet spacing.
I guess it depends on your racial background and or how much $$$ your ordering, the double standards that's being applied.😡😡😡😡.
I will no longer do business or buy anything from this establishment, they also should PROVIDE proof that they are vaccinated from all type of diseases since they are handling food and beverages, also other health code proof....very disappointed & disgusted.... Very backwards establishment....looks like the city hasn't done a health inspection in a...
Read moreFirst time customer. Came here for breakfast this morning while the car was being repaired. Ordered a tamale and lulo juice w water, lightly sweet. The drink was on point as compared to other Colombian or Ecuadorian spots that sell this drink. The tamale was flavorful, protein was tender, carrots and potatoes along w the corn meal made it for a filling breakfast. Warm morning so I got another lulo en agua. Very happy with the meal and the girl who took my order was nice and inviting when I asked to sit. If I'm in the area, I will check them out...
Read moreBeen coming here for a bit of time and it’s usually great. The workers seem racist and don’t like serving people that aren’t of their own kind. However yesterday I ate a empanada from there and was hospitalized and felt like I would nearly die. I was throwing up and it was bad. The meat tasted old. It seemed like the meat that didn’t sell and got old, was then used to make a empanada. It traumatized me and I won’t be going back. They are very racist as well. They don’t enjoy working there. Better off buying a cake and coffee...
