Mia Halal Food — Restaurant in New York

The Food taste great. Customer service is very bad very aggressive and terrible attitude towards a customer there are plenty of signs to confuse the customer and very messy they overcharge for every little thing if you want extra sauce you have to pay extra place like this should be at a decent price there is a lot of hidden fees if you ask for extra pita bread they would give it to you but charge Without informing you our problem was not money the problem here is lack of communication with the customer the same way you want money from the customer is the same way the customer wants to be informed what they are being charged. At the end as the nice human being I finish eating I picked up my tray and the tray was clean I gave it to the woman that was Very nasty while speaking with us. Instead of taking it and saying thank you she said can you please put it over there by the garbage can. The owner needs to take some responsibilities instead of firing people and replacing them with nasty people the owner should have a group meeting and actually explain to the employees how to communicate with customers because in A customer is always right. Prices are bad for the amount and even kind of food (a few short wisps of shredded iceberg lettuce are nothing remotely like the generous leafy greens pictured)...then there's the weirdly passive-aggressive signage to the customers all over the place: though I'm sure they get a lot of bums and other degenerates since they're open until four in the morning in a somewhat sketchy nabe, saying "this is America" and then implying you're just here for the money is almost hostile -- especially with a picture of Mecca on the other wall!! (Interestingly, the TV had some Pakistani or Bangladeshi woman wailing love songs in a moderately form-fitting dress.) Then there's the illegal help-wanted sign on the window for a female-only cashier and a male-only cook...the only things good about this place is that it's very clean and open truly late. And that they offer authentically hot but also "aromatic" green chili sauce! Really should be two and a half stars overall but it's okay (three stars) considering that there's only White Castle in the area late at night and the premises look extremely clean -- especially for a truly late-night...

Gimmick. This place at the start was one of the best in the city when they had a cart. Then after store was open,still good but NOW has declined into a scam and joke. You leave feeling cheated. Very polite service, they give you a number and take time offering and dressing your box for you with a smile.SO sweet and polite Great! Still tastes good. Open your box it's a lot of fancy cut salad, same great rice filling the box with weight and a few drizzlled specks of chicken minced style on top for $8.17 after tax what? who charges that smiles in your face and cheats you. "The smart live off the stupid." Never again . Casbah.Shah's,Sammy's all are closer to the city high rent yet they load up your box nice with a respectful amount of meat $6 or $7. I don't mind the Mia's price but don't try to trick your customers and insult their intelligence. You literally get the least chicken/meat at Mia's out of any place in nyc and it's in the hood. Yet they charge the highest prices even more than Halal guys in manhattan but they however are actually worth it when you open...
