I love this spot. I been coming here for some time and its always a peaceful time. Its never been crowded when I've been there and the rings give a whole new dynamic and fun way to do calisthenic exercise. With a beautiful view on the Hudson, facing Jersey. If it rains really heavy, the sand will get nasty of course. It can be a little tricky to get here but just make sure you go towards the river from the 90's. This is a cool, nice little calisthenics spot that never gets too packed with lots of space.

Probably my favorite spot in the city. Let your inner child out and swing like a monkey! There is a bar/restaurant right there in the warm weather months, and ampitheater seating to sit on. Sand pit for beach volleyball and ping pong tables too! Enjoy yourself while all the commuters wish they were there too.

A fun (errh, addicting?) and unique piece of equipment for ages 8-70. I'm guessing on the 8 as the only requirement for doing it is armspan and some younger than 8 do have it. Swing from ring to ring like a monkey. On warmer weekends you might find pogo sticks, unicycles, slacklines, ping pong paddles/balls, tetherball also. Concrete ping pong tables are always there. Attachment points for volleyball nets are always there, though there may already be games in progress. You won't find another set like this until Rhode Island and after that a private gym in DC and after that...

Cute place to play on rings and work on your skills, but full of entitled upper west side snot nosed kids who have never been taught any manners by their inept parents. There were some kids who were awesome and courteous, but most sucked which took away from the experience. If you're an adult and looking to come here to train rings or get any serious work done, time your visit before or after the...
