A fun (errh, addicting?) and unique piece of equipment for ages 8-70. I'm guessing on the 8 as the only requirement for doing it is armspan and some younger than 8 do have it. Swing from ring to ring like a monkey. On warmer weekends you might find pogo sticks, unicycles, slacklines, ping pong paddles/balls, tetherball also. Concrete ping pong tables are always there. Attachment points for volleyball nets are always there, though there may already be games in progress. Read moreI love this spot. I been coming here for some time and its always a peaceful time. Its never been crowded when I've been there and the rings give a whole new dynamic and fun way to do calisthenic exercise. With a beautiful view on the Hudson, facing Jersey.
If it rains really heavy, the sand will get nasty of course.
It can be a little tricky to get here but just make sure you go towards the river from the 90's.
