This is a great dog park with three sections. The first gated area is accessible from the main gate and it usually has small dogs. The main area has a track that owners and their dogs can walk or run around. And there's also a gated off area with a few pieces of doggie equipment for exercise. There's no parking, but most people just park their car outside the park half on the sidewalk. Also, what would have been a great view of the Bay is blocked by an MTA building. But it's still a great spot to let your dog go off leash. Gates are not high, but the dogs are having too much fun to try and escape. There are some extra slats to stop small dogs from escaping between bars. Sometimes it's empty, but even with 15-20 dogs on a Saturday afternoon there's still plenty of room...
ย ย ย Read morePlease be very careful with this park. Something was sprayed on the grass that was very toxic for dogs. We got there in the morning 2 weeks ago our little pup ran into the park excited as always and began chewing and the sniffing around on the grass, within a minute or so she immediately became disoriented and fell ill. It was found that there was some type of toxins on the grass. There were no signs posted that pesticide was sprayed that morning or the night before.
It was a very traumatizing experience and definitely isnโt safe for the dogs. Needless to say we have been back since and our Brooklyn is doing...

There were about 6-7 dogs total and my dog was the smallest, so I did not go to the small dog area. All the dogs and the people were friendly, the doggies had fun and I plan to make this a regular spot to visit this summer. Next time I'll...
