I have been to sooo many bodegas in all 4 boros(Statan Island… not so much) and clearly this place is a 3 on my top 5 spots for a CHOPPED CHEESE !! Evenly placed meat and cheese(plenty meat) the bread was crispy crunchy outside and soft fresh inside. And any real Ny"er knows u have to add the Sazon seasoning to it….. The guy cooking does not seem to have a lot to say,and I’m good with that. But, If ur in Rockaway and ur mouth is watering for that beef and cheese deliciousness….. then the Sandwich Spot is the spotttttttt. They get 3 👨🏾‍🍳👨🏾‍🍳👨🏾‍🍳 Thanks guys Tasty as hell🔥

The first half of my sandwich was good, but the second half tried to screw me. All jokes aside... I have to give you a bad rating because I have literally never had something this ridiculous in my food. Come on. Do better. You can't do this. You're very lucky I didn't break a tooth.

I went to three other places just looking for a chicken wrap and couldn’t find one. Finally I just searched “sandwich” and obviously this place came up first. I ordered a random chicken club wrap and had low expectations … I don’t know what deity the girl behind the grill sold her soul to but that sandwich was incredible. Like, I’m not even sure it was what I ordered it was so much better than a standard chicken club, and to top it all off when I went to pay I was told it came with a free soda. I walked out blessed by gods I didn’t even know...

The food is great. But the commitment to customer service is even better. I ordered through Grubhub and had the typical terrible experience where they kept delaying the delivery time. The Sandwich Spot called to let me know that Grubhub was having a problem and that my food had been waiting. To compensate for the wait, they added extra sweets, side dishes and a bottle of water to the order, completely unsolicited without a single complaint. Will definitely eat here again but in-person instead...
