If you’re looking to get anything printed by the print center go to a different location on Wednesday March 12th I came to pick up a poster board and ending up paying for menus to be printed out as well. I reached home and realized the menu I needed printed had an error I called immediately! they stated they’d have to cancel my entire order if I wanted to switch out the photo due to one error, no problem it was my mistake rushing. I emailed them the corrected menu that I needed printed they stated it would be done Thursday afternoon or Friday morning due to them being backed up but when I just left and payed for the order it stated it would be ready Thursday for pick up. Fine no problem. I gave them an extra day and decided to come pick up my menu on Friday. I gave them extra time just in case if I came Thursday and they weren’t ready. I come in Friday @1pm to pick up the menus they weren’t even printed out. The staff didn’t know what he was doing he couldn’t even work the machine. I asked him what the issue was he said he wasn’t able to work with the machine and that my menus would be ready for pick at 6pm I stated that’s a lot for me to do because I had other things that needed to be done but I needed my menus for my event on Saturday. I come to pick up my menus he stated I payed for them already I said why did the lady tell me she had to cancel the entire order then on Wednesday when we spoke on the phone he shrugged his shoulders I finally get home and something told me to check my order I check my order it is the menus that had an error on them I am so upset with the service I’ve received today. I basically waited all day just to receive an order that was wrong although I emailed them the corrected one. If you’re looking to get anything printed DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION unless u need to use the copy machine or drop off packages it’s too many new people there and they don’t know what they are doing ....
Read moreMy gf and I had the WORST shopping experience of my entire life at the @Staples on Jericho Turnpike in Bellrose NY this past Saturday at around 1:50pm. We went in to buy a printer and had the Sales Manager show us a few printers on sale. After he went back to the counter, my gf and I did some price comparison online, looked up reviews, all the normal things people do when shopping. We select an HP 7855 marked down to $99, (which was the first one he showed us) and brought it to the counter. At the counter, he asks how much the printer was. We told him it was $99. He then went to the section where the printers are for about 2 minutes, and calls us over saying he cant find the price we mentioned. We come over to check and THEY CHANGED THE PRICE to $229! From the 2 minutes of us picking up the printer and bringing it to the counter, someone (or this "sales manager") changed the price card! When we told him that someone changed the price, he spent the next 20 minutes trying to convince us that the price was $229 the whole time. He then had the other in-store "manager" talk down to us as if we made up the whole thing or were confusing the prices with other prices we saw. Right as we decided to give up and leave, we remembered that we looked up reviews online. As we pull up @staples website, the hp 7855 was right there for $99!!! They then kept fighting us that this online price cant be honored in store, (eventhough the instore price was $99 before they switched it). They eventually sell us the printer for the CORRECT price of $99. After all this, we take the printer home, open it, and it's a used piece of junk! It was missing instructions, pieces, it was dusty and had been used! I never expected a big retail store to pull these unprofessional scam-like tactics, and I'm usually the first person to let things go and last person to complain, but DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STAPLES (251-21 Jericho Turnpike,...
Read moreThere’s plenty of parking near this Staples, and it’s located in what looks like a solid area of Valley Stream. Everything about it suggests it should be a well-run store with helpful staff.
But no.
When I finally managed to get the attention of one of the employees — a young woman who was more interested in her phone than in helping customers — she informed me that the service I needed "wasn’t working." That’s despite signs in the store and information online clearly saying otherwise.
I asked, “Why isn’t it working?” Her answer? “No reason. It just doesn’t.”
She said it like she was the President of the United States and had the authority to decide what works and what doesn’t. No explanation, no apology, no attempt to help — just pure indifference.
It was clear she wasn’t interested in working or assisting anyone. I guess I interrupted her social media break. No wonder the store was empty — any actual customer is treated like a nuisance.
If you respect your time, avoid this location. You’ll walk out frustrated, just like I did. One star is generous. If negative stars were possible, this place would...
