I called and ordered a medium pizza and fries at 7:15pm and the lady working there told me it’ll be ready in 35-40 mins so I head there at 7:50 just to find out it hasn’t even been started yet. She told me the guy is gonna start on it and it’ll be ready in 10 mins so I call back (at this point I’ve seen people go in after I’ve been waiting for my food, they ate and left all before I even got my food) after 15 mins then she tells me it’s being baked in the oven so it’ll take 7 mins. She ends up calling me around 15-20 mins later at 8:40pm telling me it’s ready. I go in and I noticed that I was the last one to get my food even though I called over an hour ago and checked in a few times with the store. When I’m paying for my food, they didn’t even bother to make up for making me wait about an hour and 40 mins for my food. I was fasting all day as well, the pizza was a 6/10 super overhyped and the fries were literally microwaved, they had it ready from before I’m assuming then they put it in the microwave to heat it up. Terrible experience but hey at least I got a water bottle for free, ended up saving a dollar. What a joke, they’re super understaffed and overhyped. Never going here again, honestly just don’t waste your time and save yourself the trouble. You’ll be better off going...
Read moreAlright, here is the rundown of this place. You walk in and its already the second most sketchiest place you have been to. Why do they need two doors when one never works, but besides the point. The kid taking your order will have a really good future at the dmv cos BOY IS HE SLOW. But, you give them the benefit of doubt and its 6:40 and you place your order for one pizza pie. You understand they will be busy so you are placing your order over an hour before iftar. Fast forward and its 7:35 and you walk in and you ask for your pizza and the same kid tells you that it will be out in a minute. Now its 7:45 and you ask again, finally the kid realizes they never made your order and you can see they are busy and there is a group of customers waiting for their orders but the main man (probably owner) wont stop taking new orders even though there are only three of them running the show and they are already not the brightest three to be working at a food joint. The owner looks at you and tells you to give him 5 min like he will magically produce your pizza and asks you to be understanding because THEY FORGOT TO MAKE YOUR ORDER up until now. P.S if you are really looking for good pizzas, drive for two more minutes and go to Hangry on hillside ave. They are just closed on...
Read moreFound this spot via IG. Always wary because of the hype & but this place was definitely matched with it’s hype.
Only reason for 4 stars & not 5 was based on the overall cleanliness of the place. Wasn’t anything disgusting- just tables needed a bit more wiping & behind the counter where desserts appeared to be made/ waffle maker needed to be cleaned up. Especially since when I asked if waffles were being made & was told no. Well let’s get to it.
Decor: it’s definitely social media friendly. Neon lightning words with grass backdrop & a kind of industrial vibe with the decor.
Staff: Polite. The cooks/pizza makers in the back served us & they were cool guys. Gave stoner Vibes & that’s perfectly ok with me because the food choices are that vibe!
Food: Friggin’ delicious! We had the chicken over rice personal pizza, hamburger pizza, and chicken tikka cheesy roll. Personal Pizza is a great size to share with two (in my opinion) The chicken over rice pizza was incredible! My wife loved it & so did I! The cheeseburger pizza was also yummy. Chicken tikka cheesy roll was good but I chose the tikka & wasn’t the best combo but still good! Everything is made to order - which is nice. Fresh food is always good.
Price: I’d say $$
Parking: Pretty good here.
Overall: we...
