But as parks go, I don't know why anyone would come here as a tourist unless they just wanted that picture perfect shot of the Queensboro Bridge, which you can certainly get here.

Today was A nice day to walk around the area and check out another park. The Sutton Place Park South is a newly renovated small park at the 53/54 street entrance to the new East River Esplanade. There are shaded areas as well as sunny. Lots of benches to sit and relax. In the middle is an interesting old sundial.

This park is peaceful and sunny, there's also plenty of shade. You will find an occasional homeless person on the benches. The only bad part about this park is that they're building next to the river and it has been going on for years now, other than that cool place to chill with beautiful view.
