Fantastic salon with two great hair stylists. I was visiting my mother in NYC who had to get a shoulder surgery. After about a week and a half of recovering, she wanted to get out the house and pamper herself. She stopped for a simple hair wash as she was still in a sling. The staff did an amazing job getting her comfortable for her service and my mother was incredibly pleased with the experience all around.

The atmosphere is great. It is a small storefront but they make great use of their space. It was extremely clean and well organized.

I ended up going for a haircut during my stay. I received an amazing shampoo and scalp massage. The stylist did a great job listening to what I wanted done with my hair. I have long Asian hair so I am a bit particular who does my hair but I was thrilled with how it came out.

The service was amazing all around. The prices they offer are extremely competitive. They work incredibly hard and deserve all the praise...

Booba Color Bar is a gem in midtown east that changed my life in 2022 when I discovered it. Eva, the colorist who runs the the business with true vocation, is an artist bordering on sorceress. There is nothing she cannot achieve - as long as she thinks it will suit the client and retain and enhance the integrity of the hair. For the previous two decades, my salon color experiences were underwhelming at best and I had come to dread them (“how far from what I’ve asked will it be, and how soon should I go back to fix the orange tint?”) Now I look forward to each and every salon appointment, my color & highlights are beyond flawless (me thinks), and plus there’s always some funky conversation with Eva, the talented colorist and businesswoman who owns and...

I am very satisfied with the hair cut Eva gave last week. I gave labor last year and in the last couple of months, all of a sudden, my hair got very weakened and had too much hair loss. Newly coming short hairs were the worst part of it! Eva understood my needs perfectly and after talking about it thoroughly she gave me very good, insightful and straightforward suggestions. She talked to me throughout the process and explained what was she doing according to the needs of my hair. My haircut has been amazing and I felt much more confident and happier with my hair. She also made some suggestions for strengthening my hair. Look forward returning to Booba Color Bar....
