Constance Baker Motley Recreation Center — Local services in New York

Since last year this center, under the new management, has improved very much. It appears that frequent lock thefts, including from the secured safes, have been reduced or eliminated. The place is also much cleaner and the new staff servicing center much more polite and helpful. However, why the city was waiting for months and years instead of making personal changes in the management of the center when from all the criticism was obvious that the previous management was either not willing or able to manage this great facility. The pool is great, however again why the city was waiting for months with the ceiling walls repairs and let them to deteriorate so much that now the pool must be closed for 3 weeks (until 20 Sept.). Hopefully, the repairs will be performed professionally (instead of spreading spider nets below the affected area).

This, maybe the best NYC center, should be under the NYC permanent observation to prevent the previous problems...

The Summer Camp program This is my daughter's second summer at this camp. Hands down is it a great and affordable camp, she loves it!!

The summer program is lead by Ed Aguste who is incredibly professional polite and caring. The rest of the staff is exactly the same. They are all very courteous and super patient with all the kids. They keep the parents informed and the kid busy. The camp has regular hours and extended hours and a huge nice clean indoor pool. When I pick my daughter up she is exhausted from all the fun indoor and outdoor activities.

The facility itself is has security and it super clean and cool, perfect for the summer. All in all I am very happy with this camp, staff and facility. I highly recommend the camp staff and facility at 348...

I was greeted with a warm smile from Officer Young who gladly took the time to show me around and answer any questions I had . There was no pressure to join which I greatly appreciated . People were playing tennis and having a great time . Really impressed with what all is offered here for the price . Looking forward to joining a class with Raoufa as an instructor . She was very nice and personable just like officer Young . A gentleman by the name of Freddy was busy cleaning away . He politely took the time to welcome me as well . The whole place has a really nice atmosphere and the people that work at this location are the reason ! Go check it out . You’ll see...
