As a loyal customer of them, I was shocked and disappointed by my recent experience. Despite relying on the advertised closing time, I arrived only to find the doors locked earlier than expected. All I needed was a simple green pepper, but I was left standing outside feeling let down and inconvenienced. It's disheartening when a store doesn't stick to its own schedule, especially for loyal customers like myself. Not only did I encounter an early closure, but I also find the prices to be really high for poor quality food. It's disheartening to pay a premium only to receive subpar products. The manager's attitude was unpleasant, and the language barrier with the staff makes it difficult to address any concerns. In light of these issues, I'm left questioning my loyalty and taking my business elsewhere. There’s a market on 145th with way better prices...
   Read moreThe produce is always bad, they purposely only put up milk with the same expiration date that is 1 week from the current date you bought it and they have shady marketing tactics were they say its a special but when you go to the cash registers to pay its a different story. And lastly, some of the Spanish people that work there are so rude. They talk about the predominantly black customers in Spanish and made that same mistake with me not knowing that I speak Spanish and understood exactly what they were saying!! If you can help it, go to another supermarket in the area.
P.S. this review still stands. It a new owner, and it’s under a new supermarket name “ the food emporium” or whatever but the SAME Spanish cashiers work their and still talk shut about their black...

Had to ask four different staff members where the cups were cause everyone just pointed instead of taking time to show me where. Then I get to register no hello no thank you nothing.
