I had an appointment for a full Brazilian wax which lasted around 20 minutes. All of the people were pleasant from the time I made my appointment down to the service I got. Unfortunately, I was in a rush so I did not check the work before leaving the facility. After I left, I realized the lady left a lot of wax behind which made for an unpleasant experience as I traveled to my next errands. When I returned home to check the problem I realized not only did she leave a lot of wax she also left quite a bit of hair. I called the facility to state my claim and all the receptionist kept saying was “oh no, so sorry,” and it was good I called within 48 hours of my service so that I could return for correction. After reassuring me it was ok to immediately re-wax I returned the same day to get the rest of my hair removed. I saw a different lady who was fast and seemed efficient. After about 5 minutes she handed me a mirror to check her work. Mind you she did more as far as turning me over to wax the back which the first technician did not do. I noticed the discrepancies but decided I had enough for the day. When I returned home and had sufficient lighting I saw the second technician left a line of hair down my labia and more hair in different places as well. Days later I am still sore and have irritation that I’ve never experienced with my other waxing ventures. If you are looking for a great relaxing quick and painless waxing experience GOO HERE!! Not only is this place extremely clean and the bathroom tidy but every single time i have gone to appointments from the desk personnel to the wax makers to my waxer is friendly and discreet. I have been coming here for about two years and after a year and a half having a baby i couldnt let myself go to another place we also moved out of state and now live in Connecticut and the 2 hour drive was so worth it for me i always feel heard and safe when around these incredible estheticians and thay are always professional and try to he quick as possible. By mindful each esthetician does slightly different things. Some might start on the lower part of top part of whatever service you are getting and may ask for different positions but at the end of the day what makes this place the best is that they are respectful and make a super intimate momment feel so safe and fun. I have seen crystal and sachi and they both are great. Crytal has been there for longer but I love that i can see sachi on the days i am able to come down to new york. None of the staff knows what they are doing. I went in two times requesting appointments at specific times with specific waxers and not only do they get it wrong, they don’t apologize. Today, I was told there were no special requests for a waxer on my appointment. That’s not me. That’s the staff person at the desk. I literally spent ten minutes explaining to that person who I wanted and what services and she still got it wrong. How hard is it to schedule an appointment correctly like that is literally your whole job…. and then not even apologize for your incompetent business. And I just called to cancel both appointments based on the terrible service. The staff member canceled one, so I had to call back and get her to cancel the second one, too.
