The worst experience I have had in New York. We’ve booked a guided tour at 11:00, to get inside all visitors have to check in here first, I understand that. We had spent over an hour waiting outside the centre. When it was 10:45, I asked the security guard if we were allowed to skip the queue, as I’ve booked a guided tour which starts at 11:00. He said no worries about the time. So, we kept waiting. After we’ve been given the stupid badges, we still have to cross the street to the other point for security check. Finally when we got in there, it was 11:40, and the staff at the guided tour check in booth said we were late, we cannot join the guided tour. We argued that we have spent an hour and a half already trying to get into the headquarter, and it is not our fault that you got a long queue and did no traffic control. He then said all the tour in the morning was full, suggesting we join the one at 14:45. We honestly cannot spend three more hours waiting in the lobby. Fortunately they can refund. I totally not recommend anyone to waste two hours waiting, while there is so much more to see in this city. Compared to US Capitol, 9/11 Museum, Observatories in NYC, etc., where tourists are so many, but they manage to get people in and out smoothly, this UN headquarter was such a...
