Westbeth is a great place for working artists that is affordable since Manhattan rents are expensive.
Although I have moved abroad, forsaking Manhattan after many years, I still have several friends who live in WestBeth, and they are happy to be in this building.
Some apartments at WestBeth have Hudson River views, and the West Village neighborhood is quiet, with a D'Agastino supermarket and a smattering of good neighborhood...
