The worst Mexican food I’ve had in New York. I KNEW I should’ve walked out the restaurant when I didn’t smell food walking in. The place was cold and there was nobody there, except a friend of the guy behind the counter and someone picking up an order. I ordered take out chicken enchiladas with red sauce and chips. $23 freaking dollars. Ridiculous! There were maybe 15 chips. The enchiladas were not enchiladas and the red sauce was not enchilada sauce. It was small flour tortillas filled with chicken that had been cooked on a griddle then cut up in strips. The sauce was a hot salsa like sauce. Not one smoked chili was used to make that sauce. The tortillas were mushy and soggy from the not enchilada sauce. The rice was instant and flavorless. Everything in that dish was heated in a microwave. None of it was warming on the stovetop in a pot. The best thing about this dish were the three very thin slices of avocado and the three slices of radish. Complete rip-off from taste to cost. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I had written a really lengthy and thoughtful review of this restaurant, but the crux of it came down to the fact that the pictured is what the consider chips and salsa. The chips were cold and oil logged. Service was equally trash.

Ive ordered her a few times through ubereats and it was fine. Whenever I picked-up, the place was empty, no one was at the counter and I would wait aprox 5-10 minutes before I was noticed. Despite the slow service, the food was good.

My mother recently entered to place an order and she was denied service. I recommend to my mother to eat at this restaurant as we are both Mexicans and they make good food. After work, around noon, my mom went inside to order picaditas and agua fresca. She was denied service and was told they were not serving at the moment and was asked to leave. She saw they were attending another table as they kicked her out. This happened on Friday, June 23,2023. She came in with her work clothes, lugging her work tools. I dont know why they would deny her services. Claiming they are not serving while waiting on another table is ridiculous. I will never order from here again.

Trabajadores, I recommend you dress professionally as you visit this rundown restaurant, you may be...

My girlfriend and I went in there today to get a snack. We ordered esquite (corn) and chips & guac, along with two waters. The total was $25, and when the chips and guac arrived, he brought out around 8 or 9 individual chips along with the pile of guac. We had to ask for extra chips, and even with that, there was still a ton of guac leftover.

The overpriced aspect of it is not the reason I'm writing this review, though.

About 10 minutes into being there, there a girl came in and asked to use the restroom. She was black. The guy working there said "Its out of service, sorry" and she was turned away. I was concerned by this, so I went to check if it was. The bathroom was not out of order. A few minutes later, a white girl came in and she also asked to use the restroom, and he said "Sure, go ahead it's in the back."

It was obvious to me that it was blatant racism that fueled the outright lie that the man working there told the girl who came in.

Do not...
