Bushwick Bark on Irving — Local services in New York

I bought a dog jacket here for my puppy and it fell apart within the first 6 times of my puppy wearing it. He didn’t chew on it or anything, he was absolutely content with his jacket and wearing it. When I brought it back to Bushwick Bark on Knickerbocker to at least get an exchange, they refused. How is it fair to a customer to spend $60 on an item for my dog that can easily be exchanged or at least get a refund and you’re going to tell me no, you can’t do that because it’s against company policy??? I was told to go to their location on Irving to talk to the manager and upon arriving to the Irving location, was told the manager was “out of town”. So now, not only does this small business refuse to please the customer in doing whatever they can to help, they’re also liars. You will never be getting business from me again because you clearly don’t care about customers concerns and your policies...

I visited Bushwick Bark because the were hosting a cat adoption event, which means I went in with a very positive feeling about the business even before I entered. So, trying my best to be objective, I can report they have a great selection of toys, displayed such that it's easy to find something if you know what you want and also fun to browse if you haven't yet decided what you want for your pet. The store is small, but they have been smart with using space so you don't feel cramped even though there is a lot of inventory on display Add to all that a friendly and attentive staff, and Bushwick Bark does deserve a...

The store itself is great. This is about the groomer.

There was no electricity when I walked into the store 2.The groomer was either overworked or too lazy. I’m thinking it was the former. 3.The groomer expected my dog to be free of all tangles or he was gonna shave him. He said he didn’t have the “proper tools”

If you have a poodle mix of any kind I would avoid this place until they hire more staff or get better workers. I have seen legitimate matted dogs receive proper haircuts vs what he wanted to do to my dog. Avoid unless you just want...
