Overall Phenomenal! Some of the BEST mole I’ve ever had, very rich and flavorful with depth and spice! Yucca fries were crisp on the outside side and warm an fluffy like inside sooo good! I tasted the shrimp taco and it was seasoned to perfection! I had the tamarind drink, it was a great balance of sweet and sour and it was STRONG. The espresso ice cream with a blackberry compote (I believe)over a churro was yummy the ice cream taste like espresso not coffee which was differenttt the compote was tart and the churro was slightly sweet and crunchy. The walnut Tres Leche cake was moist, nutty and not overly sweet. All of the presentation is superb and the photos prove that; I would highly recommend this spot!

My husband and I have been coming back to this restaurant for the last 3 years. The food is always beautiful and entirely delicious. We always get delicious Mezcal based cocktails as well, which not every bar does well. The chilaquiles legit touch my soul each and every time. Chilaquiles is plate that everyone does a bit differently but will always satisfy, but the way they prepare it here just takes it to a whole different level. The service has always been very wholesome, courteous, and kind. Again, the food is genuinely amazing! Highly recommended!

I'm going to claim this as my new go-to Mexican spot. The food reminded me of homemade dishes. Everything tasted freshly made from scratch. We had the ceviche, chorizo burrito, mole enchiladas with a bowl of beans and rice for the kids. Beans and rice sound simple and yet so many places still get them wrong. Flavorless and bland. This place was on point right down to the beans and rice. It wasn't overly noisy and crowded which is another plus. I'll be going here as long as I can still walk in and get a table. Highly recommended.

Disappointing is all I can say. I was excited to try this place after seeing all of the positive reviews. The poor experience has more to do with the service than the food. First, i ordered a few tacos, the crab tostadas, the chicken enchiladas with mole pablano, and a happy hour beer. The tacos were very good, not the most authentic, but very flavorful - the pork tacos were the best. The crab tostada was bland and boring, but they were only $11 so I'm not trowing a fit. The real problem came with the entree. The enchiladas were bland and had a terrible aftertaste, as if something was off. I've had mole pablano before, but I did not enjoy this sauce. It was drenched over the bland chicken enchiladas and then a handful of sesame seeds were thrown on top. The plate was inedible so I notified my waiter. Noticeably shaken, he said "one moment" and went to the kitchen to grab who i assumed was the cook/manager. This lady told me that "this is how it's always made and everyone likes it." She then proceeded to tell me that she was not going to give me "free food." I politely explained that I did not want free food and that, while I respect that other people may enjoy the dish, I did not enjoy it. I only had a bite, and would have appreciated at least a dish swap. She did not exchange the dish and did not comp the food. To top it off, she laughed at me when I told her that this wasn't great service. I will never go...

When this place first opened the food was great. It's still good but some dishes have declined. The fish tacos are no longer as flavorful, the chicken mole is very meager for the price, the seafood rice doesn't have as much seafood. The food is still good and above most places in the neighborhood.

That said once again it's the service that brings this place down. The front of house is staffed by very young people who are not trained- never brought over napkins or cutlery, always gave to ask. Never brought plates for apps. They are nice enough but they are kids who were never taught how to run a front of house.

Atmosphere is decent but it's always empty making it a little awkward, it's always dead inside. Shame they didn't put anything up for Halloween or dia de los muertos.

One thing I wish is for them to have specials or change up the menu. It's been exactly same things since they opened and the lack of diversity makes me not want to go back because there is nothing new to try.

Go for a drink and their spicy guacamole...

Amazing find! The food is exceptional -- creative but also authentic Mexican. This is not your average burrito joint -- this is a true gem! The real deal.

There's not a lot of atmosphere, but the surprisingly elegant plates of deeply flavored cuisine and the warm, excellent service more than make up for it. We also liked the byob policy, and they even gave us some limes to go with our coronas (which we bought at the deli right across the street).

The FISH TACOS!! maybe some of the best I've ever had. The roasted cauliflower and unique sauce really make them amazing. I also thought the yucca fries were perfect -- crispy and salty with plenty of that wonderful yucca texture and flavor that I love. The "Garden" dish was a hearty mix of vegetables over a fantastic "green mole" -- a uniquely satisfying vegan option.

Can't...
