I took the basic manicure course with the owner, Liza, I opted for individual classes and I was very excited but also nervous that maybe I would not be taken seriously as I am raised American and not Russian speaking (even though my mom is from Russia) - however, when I was open with Liza about my concerns about this (especially regarding any potential/future clients of my own not wanting to even get a Russian manicure from an American) she was really reassuring and it gave me some confidence that this is something I can do successfully. She really is such a good master and teacher - I really enjoyed learning everything she taught me, using the efile is much harder than it looks so when I first tried it on my own hand I nearly put a hole in my nail bed (šŸ˜…šŸ˜…) but through out the whole class and that moment she taught me how to do everything that I was doing wrong, correctly while ALSO having confidence in me which helped me have confidence in myself. I am really a perfectionist when it comes to manicures being done on myself (and in general lol) and that’s why I love Russian manicures so much overall. soI am very happy that I chose Liza to learn from & that she gave me such a good experience in learning how to do them on others and it gives me an outlet to my perfectionism. Really, even though it was scary and difficult the first couple of times using the efile, the more I worked alongside Liza with it the more comfortable I felt, I don’t think it would have happened like this without her. I will be coming to her for any future manicure courses to continue improving my new skill :)

Thank you so much Liza!!

I attached before and after pictures of the very first manicure I completed (with of course Liza’s help) and of course it’s not perfect, but I am so proud and couldn’t believe I did as well as I did..

The next set of before and after pictures is the last manicure I completed during my manicure course with Liza, and I love how you can see the progress between few days of...

I am a regular client of this AMAZING nails salon for years now. The pictures are not pretty but they show the marvelous work they do. Let me explain: After I had COVID, my hair and my nails debilitated incredibly and I have been having this kind of problems in my toes nails and in my fingers and they have been always there to recommend the best treatment and course of action in every situation. They are true professionals with an extensive experience and they do way more than just beautiful and perfect manicure and pedicure; they also really solve all problems and imperfections that your nails can have and they do it very very gentle and with the upmost care. They have an specialist that take care of people with those issues. I am getting married in 2 days and I came to do my mani & pedi (of course) and one of my nails was turning dark green and kind of black due COVID complications as I explained before. Like any bride, I was panicking because I wanted a very milky-transparent look for my wedding day and one more time, they saved the day!!! The first picture is after they already cleaned it half way (it was way worst) and the rest of the pictures are the process and the final result. I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!!! Last but not least I want to mention that their manicures and pedicures are always flawless and they make my nails looks like I was borne with amazing nails que in reality I was used to bite them and they look horrible without their manicure. I was used to live in NJ and I will travel 3.30 hours round trip just to come to their salon. They are THAT GOOD!! Now I live in Manhattan and even though there are many salons in the city that do great nails, nothing compares to them!! A plus is that they are super nice and friendly and they always give you coffee, tea, water and sweets while you are getting your nails...

First time getting a russian mani and i thought the service wouldve been a little more welcoming/warming. Everyone in there from receptionist to owner/manager to my nail tech was just on edge and not inviting at all. I also think for services that cost so much the least they can do is offer refreshments. Not even a bottle of water was given. They seem like they do good work per their social media i just think my appointment was rushed.

For starters it was hard locating the unit because its located on top of the building with the actual address . As i entered i sat with my nail tech i said hello and was not greeted back. He didnt say a word to me actually until it was time to ask if i wanted my nail’s square or round. At the end of the service i was charged for regular gel (me not knowing the difference as it was my first time) i told them i had booked hard gel . The receptionist then said to me ā€œif the tech doesnt feel that you need hard gel they wont do itā€ while thats understandable, that shouldve been said to me at the start of service dont just do what you want to do with me without my consent. I was referred to this place specifically for their hard gel so it was an experience i wanted to try out at that point my visit became pointless. Moving forward my nails began to peel, not chip but peeled a week after getting it done. Safe to say i wont be back i couldve gotten a regular gel manicure for half the price for that...
