UPDATE: So…after I went home, I decided to style it myself. And honestly, the haircut was great. My hair looked healthy and bouncy. It was exactly the length and style I wanted.

I believe that if I had seen this at the salon I wouldn’t have freaked out because I have never left a salon looking like the first picture. The other picture is after I styled it at home.

Would definitely go back again someday, hopefully they will style it correctly next time 😅

———————————- I had received a basic scalp massage from here back in October which was great! So I decided to try a haircut as well. Big mistake. I do not think they know how to work with textured hair. The guy blow dried my hair which turned into a frizzy afro. Then when he was “styling” the hair with a blow dryer on dry hair. I asked him if he used a heat protectant to which he replied not needed because he was using a cool setting.

First off how are you going to style hair that’s dry on a cool setting. Then when he was near my ear I noticed he was lying about the cool setting because I could feel the heat on my ear.

They tried to fix my hair, but it was terrible, I tried not to cry. Told them my hair was not styled it was just dried. The right side is also a bit longer.

The Yao Bath was a 70-minute experience with multiple soaks, a light massage, and a hot herbal compress. It was super relaxing, and I felt the stress melt away as I broke into a sweat. They also provide thoughtful touches like disposable underwear, slippers, and plastic sheets for hygiene, plus delicious ginger tea and snacks!

New Salon and Scalp Spa..BLACK CAB SALON AND SPA just recently open last week.They said grand opening will be in 7 days.

They have brand new salon and spa products and equipments.

They offer hair cut,hair color,hair spa and scalp spa and also some selected body spa treatments. The treatment and spa rooms looks so relaxing.

I had a simple layer haircut today with hairstylist named ROCK.He is amazing and such a professional.He respects and listen to my hair needs and preferences.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
