Disappointing Experience at Salad House: Overpriced and Underwhelming I recently paid a visit to a local salad house and decided to order my go-to Caesar salad, a choice I've made on previous occasions. Typically, I've found their salads to be reasonably priced and generously portioned, which has kept me coming back. However, my recent experience left me thoroughly disappointed. Upon perusing the menu, I opted to supplement my salad with a side of shrimp, assuming it would add some much-needed protein to my meal. Little did I anticipate the shock that awaited me when I received the bill. What started as an 8-dollar purchase quickly escalated to a hefty 18-dollar charge, solely due to the addition of shrimp. Upon receiving my order, my disappointment only grew. To my dismay, there were a measly four shrimp accompanying my salad. For the price I paid, this felt like a blatant rip-off. Ten dollars for four shrimp is not only exorbitant but downright unfair. While I appreciate the quality of ingredients and flavors offered by this establishment, the glaring discrepancy between cost and portion size leaves much to be desired. As a loyal customer who has frequented this salad house in the past, I expected better. It's disheartening to see a place I once enjoyed tarnish its reputation with such pricing practices. In conclusion, while the salad itself may have been satisfying, the exorbitant cost for minimal additions has left a sour taste in my mouth. Until this issue is rectified, I'm afraid I'll have to reconsider returning to this establishment. As a consumer, I believe it's crucial to voice concerns regarding pricing transparency and value for money, and I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback into account for future improvements.

In a world where fast food often sacrifices flavor for speed, Salad House stands out as a beacon of freshness and convenience. Ordering through their user-friendly kiosk was a breeze, and the attentive staff swiftly brought out my meal with a smile. The star of the show was undeniably the Cobb salad. Bursting with vibrant colors and flavors, each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes. From the succulent grilled chicken to the creamy avocado and smoky bacon, every ingredient was impeccably fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The portion size was generous, ensuring that every forkful was a satisfying experience. What truly sets Salad HOUSE apart is its unwavering commitment to quality. Every ingredient tasted as though it had been hand-selected for perfection, resulting in a dining experience that exceeded my expectations. Despite the premium quality, the prices were incredibly reasonable, offering incredible value for money. In conclusion, SALAD House has earned its place as my go-to spot for takeout salads. With its seamless ordering process, impeccable service, and unforgettable flavors, it's a shining example of how simplicity and freshness can elevate the fast-food experience. Whether you're a health-conscious individual or simply craving a delicious meal on the go, Salad House is the spot!

Disappointed! I was disappointed when I bit into my buffalo chicken salad and felt something hard. When I removed it from my mouth, it turned out to be a piece of glass. It really ruined the entire meal for me because I was worried about finding another piece of glass in my food. Waste of $45! Update Hello I did not test the abnormal piece to be sure if it was glass or not. However, it was hard, clear, not food material and in my salad. As per your request; I’ve also emailed you.

They don't skimp out on the protein, all the ingredients tasted fresh, clean environment and the staff was super-helpful. I asked a question about the source of one of the ingredients and instead of telling me some BS to sell me something, he was very honest. Although a specific thing to mention, honestly deserves to be recognized especially for a restaurant owner. Newark really suffers when it comes to service compared to NYC (I'm a NYC native so naturally I compare), and due to the lack of competition, you won't find a-lot of good food places in Newark ( I don't blame them it's a tuff city to start a business). I hope this restaurant doesn't follow the trend where they lower their quality as sometimes there is less incentive to do good as competition is less with equally as small foot traffic in Newark. I don't think it will be the case as the owner was really community driven, honest, and motivated to provide the best customer satisfaction. I'm glad to say that...
