I asked a question about the source of one of the ingredients and instead of telling me some BS to sell me something, he was very honest. Although a specific thing to mention, honestly deserves to be recognized especially for a restaurant owner. Newark really suffers when it comes to service compared to NYC (I'm a NYC native so naturally I compare), and due to the lack of competition, you won't find a-lot of good food places in Newark ( I don't blame them it's a tuff city to start a business). I hope this restaurant doesn't follow the trend where they lower their quality as sometimes there is less incentive to do good as competition is less with equally as small foot traffic in Newark.
