I am a big bbq fan and this was possibly the best BBQ I’ve had in the tri-state area. Awesome pulled pork sandwich and really unique, meaty chicken tenders. Fries were great too. Saw another couple with brisket and ribs that looked A+ and would definitely get those next time. The restaurant is in the corner of a shopping mall and looks closed from the exterior, so I don’t think this place gets a ton of foot traffic but don’t let that deter you. The food is superb. If this restaurant were on South St in Morristown, it would be packed every night. Open the next restaurant in Morristown!

Finally an authentic bbq spot in New Jersey! Been trying to find a barbecue joint around New Jersey and quite frankly, the state is not known for bbq. I usually go to either NYC or Smoking Betty's in Philly. That's until I came to Smokehouse BBQ. I had the beef brisket sandwich. The meat was so tender, it melted in your mouth. The chef, who's also the owner, had the sauce on the side as a bonus. Very happy with the food. Cannot wait to come back here again to try more of their selections, especially curious about the Vanilla Fries!

One of the best places to get BBQ in New Jersey! The grub here is of great quality, especially the brisket! The meat is well made and tender. You can tell the staff know a thing or two about barbecuing! Speaking of, the staff was also very warm and friendly. They were nice enough to give me a free sample of bread pudding, which was amazing! I can't recommend this place enough to lovers of pulled pork, roasted beef, ribs and other cooked meats! You won't regret it!!!

My Family and I just left The Brisket Guy BBQ and what a wonderful experience it was! We ordered the mac&cheese bowl with pulled chicken on top with a side of cornbread the food was amazing! Very fresh, moist and flavorful. The gentleman that was at the counter was so friendly and kind and even let us turn on and put whatever we wanted on the tv for our kids which if you’ve ever been out to eat with 3 little ones you know how hard it is to keep them seated long enough to eat. Our corn bread took a little longer to come out which really was not long at all but the gentleman was very apologetic about the wait time. The food was delicious but the experience of having great customer service always means so much to us. This restaurant makes you feel like home. Like your visiting your aunts house with a good home cooked meal, good spirits and good times. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND to come here! absolutely FAMILY FRIENDLY we will...

The Brisket Guy? Great name… but it could have easily been called The Ribs Dude or even The Mashed Potato Man. Everything I picked up tonight was perfectly seasoned and delish to the last drop. Plus, as an annoying celiac sufferer, I can confirm that the gluten free gluttons can consume safely. The sauce is free of flour and tasty GF options are available. The owner even gave me a little serving of brisket drippings to replace the gravy I couldn’t have with my potatoes! What a (brisket) guy!!! Fingers crossed they add more gf sides over time, but I will be returning regardless. Thanks for...
