My experience at Sweet Jean’s kitchen + espresso bar was memorable in so many ways! From personally knowing the owner for over 40 years, to watching her create: a delicious frittata with bacon in a cute mini pie tin, surrounded by seedless grapes and topped off with toasted whole wheat bread with warm butter, to getting an impromptu espresso lesson on everything from water temperature to size of grind as well as humidity levels... I’ve got a lot to learn, but I’ll be stopping by as often as I can to pick Michelle‘s brain on how to make a delicious cup of coffee while enjoying every savory meal she throws my way! Wow; I am so happy they opened because I could not wait to taste all the delicious treats. The Brie and turkey sandwich, with the true star of the sandwich being Chef Michelle's sour cherry Dijon, was both sweet and savory with a hint of spice.

Of course, I had to try a blueberry muffin, flavored with honey and containing so many berries it just burst with goodness. Finally, the chocolate cupcake was the perfect mix of sweetness and dark chocolate depth of flavor that it was perfectly balanced. This was complemented with a perfectly made cup of coffee.
