This is an amazing family jewelers that has been incredible to work with. My fiance and I went to a few big name jewelers when we first got engaged to try and figure out how to use some family stones to create an engagement and wedding band, but we had very little luck. Feeling discouraged with the amount others were asking to use stones we already had, we went into Ken and Daughters on a whim to see what they could do. Immediately they were very helpful and listened to our requests, and came up with some very creative ideas to use our heirlooms to create absolutely gorgeous and affordable rings that mean much more to us than buying from a big name jeweler. My fiance was able to find a set of rings for himself with incredible service too. I even called them last minute to ask if I could pick up my fiance's engagement ring before a photo shoot to surprise him before business hours on a Monday, and they opened the door for me over an hour early so I could come in and pick it up on my way! Ken and Daughter is hands down the only place you should shop for jewelry in the Portland Area. We have bought our wedding rings, diamond earrings, necklaces, and watches from them.

The staff and owners are always extremely personable and knowledgeable. They are not there to sell to you, they are there to help you find exactly what fits your needs and budget. Speaking of which, their prices are excellent, beating all the big chain jewelers we shopped at before finding them.

For a smaller store they have a great on hand selection of all types of jewelry, new and consignment. Repair and custom work is all done at the store and turn around is very fast.

My fiances and I went here after a few friends suggested we try it. We drove all the way down from Vancouver Washington on multiple occasions, and every time it's been absolutely worth it. The customer service is great, and the selection of high quality ethically harvested stones at a fair price is excellent. They are also a bench made knife dealer with great prices on knifes if you like pocket knifes 😀 . The last time my lady and I went here we went because a prong on her ring that holds the stone was bent, they quickly fixed it for us and even gave her a complimentary cleaning of the ring at no price.
