I wanted to share with you my recent experience at Pirate Cove Beach. This hidden gem turned out to be an amazing destination that I believe you would thoroughly enjoy visiting as well.
Pirate Cove Beach is a pristine location, known for its immaculate cleanliness. The beach is conveniently located right by the harbor, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. During my visit, I was struck by the stunning views that the beach offers. The crystal-clear waters and picturesque surroundings make it a perfect spot for relaxation and unwinding.
What truly stood out to me during my time at Pirate Cove Beach was the friendliness of the people. Whether it was the locals or fellow beachgoers, everyone I encountered was warm and welcoming. The sense of community at the beach only added to the overall positive experience.
While the water at Pirate Cove Beach may be a bit cold, especially if you're used to warmer temperatures, I found it to be surprisingly enjoyable. The refreshing dip in the ocean was rejuvenating and added to the allure of the beach.
In conclusion, I highly recommend visiting Pirate Cove Beach if you are looking for a memorable beach experience. The combination of cleanliness, stunning views, friendly atmosphere, and enjoyable water make it a top destination for travelers and beach enthusiasts alike.
I hope this information encourages you to consider including Pirate Cove Beach in your future travel plans. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more details about my experience...
Read moreI was looking for a kid-friendly beach with smaller waves for my 4 year old while visiting Newport Beach from out of state. I saw Pirate's Cove Beach on Maps and decided to check it out in person. While trying to find parking for Pirate's Cove Beach, I stumbled upon the small beach just to the east of Pirate's Cove adjacent to the Kerckhoff Marine Laboratory. While the Pirate's Cove Beach looked great, this smaller beach was less crowded and the surf appeared to be even smaller (though both beach areas had very minimal surf compared to beach areas outside the harbor entrance). My 4 year old loved this beach, while my 9 year old preferred the "traditional" beach with larger surf. There were only a few other people on this beach, and I assume they were residents of the nearby homes. There is no nearby parking for this beach, but there was ample street parking along Ocean Blvd on the bluff above with a long staircase/sidewalk leading down Fernleaf Ave to Cove St. You can drive right up to the sand to drop off passengers and beach gear. The beach area is small, but it was clean. There are no restroom or shower/rinse facilities here, just sand and water. Overall a great little beach especially nice if you have little ones that don't like the rougher surf at other...
