I wanted to share with you my recent experience at Pirate Cove Beach. This hidden gem turned out to be an amazing destination that I believe you would thoroughly enjoy visiting as well.

Pirate Cove Beach is a pristine location, known for its immaculate cleanliness. The beach is conveniently located right by the harbor, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. During my visit, I was struck by the stunning views that the beach offers. The crystal-clear waters and picturesque surroundings make it a perfect spot for relaxation and unwinding.

What truly stood out to me during my time at Pirate Cove Beach was the friendliness of the people. Whether it was the locals or fellow beachgoers, everyone I encountered was warm and welcoming. The sense of community at the beach only added to the overall positive experience.

While the water at Pirate Cove Beach may be a bit cold, especially if you're used to warmer temperatures, I found it to be surprisingly enjoyable. The refreshing dip in the ocean was rejuvenating and added to the allure of the beach.

In conclusion, I highly recommend visiting Pirate Cove Beach if you are looking for a memorable beach experience. The combination of cleanliness, stunning views, friendly atmosphere, and enjoyable water make it a top destination for travelers and beach enthusiasts alike.

I hope this information encourages you to consider including Pirate Cove Beach in your future travel plans. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more details about my experience...

I was looking for a kid-friendly beach with smaller waves for my 4 year old while visiting Newport Beach from out of state. I saw Pirate's Cove Beach on Maps and decided to check it out in person. While trying to find parking for Pirate's Cove Beach, I stumbled upon the small beach just to the east of Pirate's Cove adjacent to the Kerckhoff Marine Laboratory. While the Pirate's Cove Beach looked great, this smaller beach was less crowded and the surf appeared to be even smaller (though both beach areas had very minimal surf compared to beach areas outside the harbor entrance). My 4 year old loved this beach, while my 9 year old preferred the "traditional" beach with larger surf. There were only a few other people on this beach, and I assume they were residents of the nearby homes. There is no nearby parking for this beach, but there was ample street parking along Ocean Blvd on the bluff above with a long staircase/sidewalk leading down Fernleaf Ave to Cove St. You can drive right up to the sand to drop off passengers and beach gear. The beach area is small, but it was clean. There are no restroom or shower/rinse facilities here, just sand and water. Overall a great little beach especially nice if you have little ones that don't like the rougher surf at other...

We’ve been coming to Corona Del Mar for over 14 years and never would come to this side, before Covid Summertime here consisted of school buses and kids everywhere! we had a new baby who is more adventurous then my 2 as he grew we explored more. We decided to have our Wedding here once I saw the picnic tables and grassy area below and saw the beautiful rock mountain that leads to Pirates Cove just another beautiful spot at Corona Del Mar. I arrived at 515am as the tables are first come first serve and I was able to get them for our reception. Couldn’t have been more Perfect, the weather was amazing, beach was very full but parking was not a problem $15 although an issue with our Officiant My brother in law was able to take the course and take the test and Married us 2 hours after still quite Amazing! Love EVERYTHING SURROUNDING THIS BEACH MADE INCREDIBLE MEMORIES AND GOT MARRIED SO HERE WE START ANOTHER YEAR AND MANY MORE...

We enjoyed our visit. No one was at the Pirate's cove beach, but we could see a lot of sailboats coming and going from the harbor. Parking was $2.40 for an hour at the kiosk at the Corona Del Mar Beach next to it. Restrooms were nice at the parking area. You have to walk up rocks to get to the beach area at Pirate's cove. Walk in by the picnic tables for an easier route. Once at the top of the rocks, walk toward the steps to get down to the beach. There was some glass on the beach.

Absolutely beautiful!! It was our family's first time there. We joined Pastor Greg Laurie and Harvest Church at their baptism event. An unforgettable moment for us. Everyone was so nice, the beach was clean and the scenery was just breathtaking. Parking was full in the parking lot but we found parking on the street which worked out for us because the parking fee was a little steep. All in all, we had a wonderful day and can't wait to visit again.

Great beach for kids. The water is shallow for a long distance. You still get small waves but they don't pull you out like the usual beach. You can even float around on rafts. To get there is kind of a mission you park in the Corona Del Mar lot and you have to walk over the Rock Hill and down a steep set of stairs but it's worth it. Only downside is there are no bathrooms on this side of the cove. But they are still walking distance.
