This makes me so sad to write!! They are taking out high-quality ingredients and SWITCHING THEM OUT for CHEAPER and trying to see if we notice. I always get the zinc house salad here for years!! I got it to go. I noticed instead of Kalamata olives they put black olives. I noticed the salad dressing was off. It was mainly just oil. Which didn't have the same color as true olive oil does it looked more like they mixed olive oil and canola oil together SO I called in to let the staff know hey just a heads up did you guys mix up the olives up? Your menu it still says kalamata olives. Are you trying to cut corners and Jose the person on the phone SAID YES they are !!! WITHOUT ZERO HESITATION admitted it. HE also Confirmed that my salad dressing is mixed with CANOLA OIL which I can't have. I get I know they recently went through being shut down because of a cockroach infestation and they probably lost a lot of money, but don't lie to your customers and serve them something else... this place under new management is going downhill. I am so disappointed. Thank you to the man I spoke on the phone with for being so honest it's not his fault it's the owners!!! Zinc Cafe on East Coast Highway has become my sanctuary when I need a productive change of scenery from the office.
