Graviti Fitness — Local services in Newport Beach

I’ve been a member at Graviti Fitness for about three months since moving back into town and what a great decision! The biggest win? It’s open 24/7. I’m an evening worker-outer, and most gyms close by shut down by 8pm on weekdays. Having the flexibility to train whenever I want is a game changer. Plus, I’m SO over the commercial gym scene: overcrowded…too many tripods…too much social hour. Graviti keeps it stress-free.

The equipment is everything you need for all levels: squat racks, dumbbells, cable machines, and plenty of options for strength training, mobility, and accessory work.

The trainers are both knowledgeable and approachable, creating a supportive vibe without any pressure. I’ve never been big on working with trainers (tried it years ago and swore it off), but I gave it another shot here after seeing how skilled and effective they are. I booked a session with Tasha (she’s amazing) and with just a few targeted mobility stretches, she helped me ease a nagging sciatic pain I’d been dealing with forever. Michael, the owner, is equally welcoming and down-to-earth, which really sets the tone for the whole community.

Other big wins: the facility is clean, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the no-front-desk check-in system. Just punch in your code, get to work, and leave when you’re done!

I started working out at Graviti with Mike earlier this year and have noticed so many changes and improvements in my fitness, athletic ability, and overall daily routine. A membership at Graviti allows for 24 hour access to the gym through a code which has allowed me to get a workout in no matter what my daily schedule looks like. I’ve tried many different gyms both small and corporate and I have found my groove at Graviti. The 24 hour access and wide variety of equipment and machines has enabled me to develop as an athlete and maintain my fitness all within the space at Graviti. There is a very diverse range of equipment from Skiergs to ropes that have helped me create a fitness plan that works for me. In training Mike has given me many challenging exercises that have helped me build muscle and he also knows exactly how to push you to meet your goals which is one of my favorite parts of Graviti. Overall I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to create a routine, build strength and increase fitness, have access anytime to an open gym, and feel a sense of community...

I'll break this review into 2 parts: #1 - The gym itself is awesome. If you are in CDM it doesn't get any more convenient. Open 24/7 and it has all the equipment and everything you could possibly need no matter what your fitness goals are. Clean, well laid out, and rarely are there more than 1 or 2 people there. Really easy to get in and out and have a great workout. #2 - Mike (owner) and all of the trainers there are amazing. Super friendly, welcoming, and just a good group of people. I workout with a trainer there named "Q" (photographed), and have nothing but great things to say. They all are happy lend a hand, answer questions, and make sure you have a good workout.
