UGHHH- DO NOT consign at this place. First experience with Eddie (owner) - he mentions integrity and nonprofit; low balls you and mentions how the rent is expensive around the area to somewhat convince you to agree with the price. Before you consign, check elsewhere and present that offer. Fashionphile and Luxe du Jour gave better deals. They will not disclose how much selling price. You could find out yourself online or in store.
Another tip - when you see your item has been sold on their IG page, screenshot it so you know when it was sold. When I went in February to pick up my check, I already knew one of my items was sold. Not only was it not available in store, but it showed sold on IG that month. When I asked why it wasn't reflected in my March check for 3/15, Sicely said it was sold on 3/2.
AND do not get me started with Sicely. Not sure what her job title is, but she handles the checks and replies to emails. She lies so much. Tip: pick up your check in store. I usually picked mines up since I was around the area, but decided to have it mailed out in April. The origjnal April check was never mailed. When asked about it via email, response is hella delayed. She finally replied by saying she will ship the following day with the tracking number. Guess what? Did not receive a response. I'm usually very patient. When I called a few days later, her response was she was gone for a few days, and her team had sent it already. NOPE. Did not happen at all. She was hesitant to provide the tracking number. When I checked, she created a label with UPS around 5 PM DURING the call. When I confronted her about it, she said, "I told you, it was shipped already." Checked the following day, and still shows label was created. Called her back. She said UPS was closed, so she shipped via FedEx. Finally got my check 17 days later. Just horrible. Just state the truth. Better than lies.
I'm all about integrity, and it is so awful here.
When I emailed about my last item to check if it was sold or available for pick up since the contract was up, there was no response after more than a week despite sending 2 emails on 5/2 and 5/7. As of today, I'm still waiting for a reply.
This has been the worst experience ever! Will never consign with OnQueStyle. Please...
Read moreUnfortunately, I had a great relationship as a consignor and a buyer when the San Diego store was the Dresser, and since the transition to On Que and as a consignor with on Que, I have been more than disappointed. The store manager Sisely, has been rude and short with me. She told me she would email me about my belongings there which are worth several hundred dollars and I still have yet to get any response. They have some how lost a Christian Dior bag of mine, an Eel Dolce and Gabbana, a pair of Italian boots....the list goes on. I hope this is not a reflection of the whole organization, but I would not do business with this company. And unfortunately I will probably have to take legal action. I adore Debbie-super personable, very fun and congenial, but again she was from the Dresser. I hope they have the ingenuity to keep her and hire more like her. I worked as a top sales person for Nordstrom and I know customer service and this is where many of my items came from as well as a few wealthy clients I do styling for in Santaluz. I have never experienced the level of neglect and disorganization as I have with On Que Style. I will continue as a VIP consignor with My Sisters Closet-so much friendlier, organized, and...
Read moreI consigned there months ago. They gave me a reciept for my items, many brand name designers, Manolo Blahnik, St. John etc .... $1680.00 if they sold the items I brought in at the prices they placed on them. I have recieved nothing. No check, No reply to emails. No call. Nothing. Consignor beware! You have little to no recourse in situations like this unless you want the hassle of going to small claims court. Better take a photo of every item you consign and the prices they placed on them to prove it and then you need $500 for the filing fee and at least one day off to go to small claims court and wait your turn to be heard. You will get an arbitrator, not a judge in most circumstances and it will be at their discretion. Its not worth the anguish and affect on your mental and physical health. My advice: enjoy your designer clothes, when you are done, donate them to a worthy cause or someone who needs them like Women Helping Women or Laura's House. Some one who needs something nice to wear for an interview or the prom and couldnt otherwise afford it. I will never bring anything here to this store...
