I don’t believe it’s the Tackle Box anymore in spite of the same menu being offered. We spent the day at the beach and ordered lunch from the CDM Beach Shack and was extremely disappointed. We ordered chicken strips and fries, a hot dog, corn and the Buffalo cauliflower. In the past the corn and cauliflower were really good, but I was so disappointed today. It was busy and was quoted a wait time of 15-20 minutes for our food, but it ended up being 35 minutes. The corn I received was really cold and lacked the char the corn normally has. It was slathered in something but it was not cojito cheese. The Buffalo cauliflower which is deep fried was burnt on the outside but the cauliflower was soft and mushy. They got the chicken tenders and fries right so if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s a safe choice. Otherwise, I would skip getting food here and bring my own. We definitely miss the food the Tackle...

This is my go-to lunch spot during Newport Beach and Orange County Restaurant Week for the last three years. I always get the Buffalo Cauliflower as a side. To me, everything else around it is a side. If this is your first time, I suggest starting with the pork. They do have a veggie option for those who don't want meat. During Restaurant Week, the meal costs $10. The entree comes with chips, one other side and a craft soda. They have outside and outside seating that is covered with heaters. Public restrooms are about 50 yards away. Parking is not a problem during a weekday lunch hour. You suppose to pay for parking, but I never have since the parking lot is wide open and I am guessing not patrolled since there is no one here during this...

The Jetty is a gem of a beach shack. Please don't get it confused with the "concessions" counter on the opposite side of the building, that is NOT the Jetty. There are negative reviews on here from people who are confusing this place with the concessions counter. I make the trip to Corona Del Mar frequently for the Sunrise Burger and Buffalo Cauliflower. Their food is consistently fresh and definitely unique for beach food. Their homemade chips are crave worthy, and don't get me started on their delicious brownies! Super friendly staff too. Definitely a must visit for anyone...

Bomb food! The Chilaquiles were so lit I didn't even take a pic. Devoured it. We then took on this beautiful burrito. Crispy potatoes and eggs that don't crumble out and make a disaster. Crisp smoky bacon and avocado. So much flavor in these dishes. Can't wait to eat it again tomorrow! **post edit** closed on mondays all day, closed Tuesday breakfast... boo!!

This location is a small building in the center of Northport Beach. The food was incredibly full of color, flavor, spices and variety of proteins combinations. You must stop here to enjoy great food. An FYI, You do have to pay for parking in order to eat at this location.
